Really nice rental property. The complex is nice and quiet yet provides the necessary comforts like pool for both adults and children, as well BBQ's for cooking. The place was immaculately clean and decorated. Really liked how well it was stocked with beach assessories like towels, boogie boards, snorkeling gear, and kids toys, as well a good size cooler. View from lenei was open with a nice view to the golf course.

From our guset book. Thank you for letting us stay here. It is very "homey" and we settled in woithout any trouble. It is a beautiful place. We were able to go parasailing , swimming with dolphins , and on a helicopter tour. Loads of fun . It was a lovely way to spend Christmas. We just came back after a three week stay at this unit and were VERY pleased with our choice in this rental. Lovely decor, immaculately clean and all the appointments you have at home. The owners have the home well-stocked and have everything a guest could want in their unit, complete with stellar dining and activity recommendations. We look forward to a future visit!

What a joy it was to stay at this condo. The pictures do not do the unit justice. It is extremely comfortable and well located for a visit to the Kohala coast. What was great about it was how the owners made it feel like a home, from the well-equipped kitchen to the little decorating touches throughout the unit -- everything we had hoped for and more! Very thoughtful owners, everytime we needed something we looked in a drawer and found exactly what we needed...and the information the owner provided answered any questions we had. We were very pleased and would definitely return in the future!

This condo rocks! We used the beach chairs, snorkel gear, umbrellas etc. We all loved it. Everyone was impressed with the luxury and the decor. It was awesome. We also loved the pool and hot tub. Everyone was impressed with TV's in each bedroom and the large one in the livingroom plus Hi Speed Internet which we used alot.

The website photos, as nice as they are, do not do this condo justice. It is first class from start to finish. Big TV, tv's in all bedrooms, ice chests to roll to the beach, unbrellas, snorkel sets, and upscale decor throughout. The complex has a really nice pool (acutally 2 pools) and the grounds are immaculate. We had a great time, and hated leaving.

We stayed at the condo in mid-February and the condo was fantastic! When first considering where to stay, this place appeared somewhat nicer and somewhat more expensive than other condos on the western side of the Big Island. After our stay, I can say this place is well worth the money, especially if you are a golfer. It was great sitting, reading, and watching the golfers play into the 15th green from both the downstairs and upstairs lanais. The condo was very well decorated and perfectly located. Because we brought two small children (3 years and 8 months), we spent a great deal of time at the condo, nearby pool, and nearby beaches. Feeling at home was important for that reason and this place definitely gave us the “home” feeling.Another great feature to this condo was all the beach items that were available at the condo. Since we had small children, we didn’t get any use out of the boogie boards or snorkel masks, but the buckets and shovels, beach mats and chairs were put to good use.We did encounter one problem with our stay. Things can happen and when they do, the method and urgency for dealing with those is probably more important than anything. Wilson and Alice handled our problem professionally and promptly and we thank them for that!Would we stay there again? Absolutely. My advice to you: Stop spending your time browsing through places to stay and get this condo reserved before someone else swoops in and takes your shot at paradise.

We really enjoyed our stay at the condo. The condo was really secluded with oustanding views of the golf course. Most of the time, we had the pool, spa, and gym all to ourselves. The place was wonderfully decorated and maintained. The condo had every ammentiy from a deluxe kitchen, a fantasitic master bedroom, comfortable living room, to a garage for conveniently storing our beach equipment. We were centrally located to many of the Island's activities such as snorkelling, shopping, fishing, 5 star dining at some of the local resorts, or just laying around at a secluded beach. My wife and I can't wait to book the condo for next year. The villa was truly the most luxurious vacation home we have ever stayed in.

This condo was truly a place away from home for us. This beautiful 3 bedroom condo had all the amenities that we desired from a hotel and more! Being a "neat freak", traveling with two young children has always been difficult for us. We always had to worry about our children crawling around on a filthy carpet or playing in the restrooms; however, this condo was so clean, we felt comfortable letting our children wander about. In fact, it was so neatly organized, we were careful as to not let our children mess things up! The pictures on the website really held true to its advertisement. We loved the main pool, with its cascading waterfall. We enjoyed many late afternoons there barbequeing and enjoying the view of swaying palm trees! We almost couldn't believe how warm the pool was......On the last few days we were there, we discovered a second pool at the end of the community that had a 1 foot kiddie pool. Because this area was so well secluded, it truly made it feel like a tropical paradise. We enjoyed driving to Kailua (downtown)which was about a 20 min. drive from Waikoloa. One of our favorite pitstops was Ms. Barry's Cookies! It was a few blocks away from Costco and they had the most addictive cookies. Because the condo was so comfortable, we probably spent too much time in it. We never made it to the Hilo side, to view the volcano. Perhaps, next time. Overall, it was a wonderful vacation for us and we would love to stay there again.

This was our first visit to the Big Island and the accomodations really made our trip a wonderful experience. What a truly beautiful and emaculate townhome! Wilson and Alice have put a lot of love into providing a home-away-from-home setting for their guests. Everything that you could need has been thoughtfully provided. The decor of the townhome truly makes you feel like you are in a tropical paradise. It was so comfortable and relaxing, there were times when we just wanted to "Hang Loose" inside. The pool was very nice and clean. It was refreshing during the hot afternoons. We didn't have to worry about crowds or the sand! The townhome is located in the Waikoloa Beach Resort complex so it is close to the other resorts in the area for dining and shopping. Golfing at the Waikoloa courses was great. The Beach course from the Resort tees was only 5900+ yards but you can play from the back tees (6800 yds) if you feel daring. The Kings course is inland and a little more challenging. As a guest at the Villas, you can get guest rates at either course. Don't pay regular or guest prices. While here, the courses offered a golf and dine special. For $85.00 you could get twilight golf (starts at 1 pm) and a $15.00 food credit at the Beach/Kings Grill. The food at the Beach Grill was surprisingly good. Try the desserts. Yummmmmm! The Canoe House at the Mauna Lani is a must! Great food and what a view at sunset! Another great dinner was at the Hapuna Beach Prince Resort. Between 6-6:45pm, they have a 3 course special (choose between 3 entrees). The view here was great too. Not a bad table in the place. Hapuna Beach is a beautiful beach but a little windy. Locals asked us if we got "sand blasted" there. Mauna Kea Beach was beautiful too. A little more protected so less windy. Get there before 9 am cuz they only allow 30 visitor cars to park in the beach lot. Much of the "sightseeing" stuff is on the Hilo and south side of the island. The Hilo side is much more lush and tropical (and more wet) whereas much of the Kona Coast is barren volcanic rock fields. Most of the big resort oasis's were built right smack dab in the middle of these fields. Amazing!!! Like Arnold Schwarzenegger said, "I'LL BE BACK!"

We would like to say that this rental is everything that we read and more. It truly is like a second home away from home. The first thing you notice is that when they say no smoking they really mean it, there are no musty smells like some of the other rentals we have stayed at. The views are what was advertised gorgous, and the decor is spectacular it truly is as if a good friend opened up there house for you to stay with them. This condo is easy to get to and is about a fifteen mile drive to Costco (gas up here), Wal-Mart, Kmart and tons of stores making supply runs easy and convenient just like home. The condo has everything you would have at home including hair dryers in the bathrooms so no need to lug them here. We found there is a top ten in the world beaches about 12 miles down the road at Hapuna this is a free state beach get there by 9:30 for the best parking, there are bathrooms and showers and a place to something to eat. The condo even has beach chairs, an umbrella, and boogie boards just bring the sun block and snacks. The only downside is that the beach is a mile away, but that was our fault, as we would have had to pay a lot more for such a nice condo. If asked would we stay here again? Well let’s just say while looking at future dates on the calendar we found this (review our stay) on the website, so yes most definitely.

An awesome condo! We are so pleased we chose the Colony Villas ! Quiet, private , a perfect place to wind down. Had a little trouble with the main gate, but once we figured it out all was fine. We enjoyed the pool today. but sadly no movies or books to share. We enjoyed the path thru the pools past the Hilton. Joe S. This is a beautiful home. The pictures and descriptions were entirely accurate. It is tastefully decorated throughout and we found everything we needed, including a beautiful tennis court we could walk to. It was very quiet; we never heard neighbors. The complex is very well managed; the pools and grill area were meticulously clean. Also, the owners of the home are very well organized. Being in Waikoloa, which we stumbled upon by blind luck while making our travel plans, is a real plus when staying on the Big Island. It has everything you need; other parts of the island can be very remote, or not as sunny. It was a spectacular vacation.

This townhouse was absolutely perfect for our first trip out to the Big Island. Incredibly spacious and immaculate as well as convenient to local restaurants, shopping and activities. It was beautifully decorated but really inviting to families at the same time. All the little things, such as towels, toiletries and a large assortment of new baking and cooking equipment made such a difference. The beds were also very comfortable. We met the neighbors on either side and they were so welcoming! We absolutely loved the pool and got a little workout in at the fitness room and the nearby hiking trail. The only downfall is that the closest video store and large supermarket was a 10 minute drive but there are smaller markets across the street and we heard that they are building a large complex with a supermarket and movie theaters soon. We discovered a couple of great hidden beaches nearby too. It was so nice to be able to cook a little something when we wanted rather than eating out all the time and be able to feel at home rather than in a hotel. The Big Island is so beautiful! Can't wait to go back
