(Caution: the majority of listings require you/your family "pack" beach bags and HIKE or DRIVE, Griswolds-like, to enjoy the beach. NOT at "Sonny's Hideaway"...) The breath-taking, sunrise vista shines thru a 28-foot continuous wall of floor-to-ceiling windows. Each morning is peace, calm, serenity and the lovely sound of the surf! BEACH at your FINGERTIPS!
My two-bdrm condo is great for a romantic getaway, but terrific for families, too. It's a short skip down the elevator & out to your beach below. Moms & Dads value how the pool's easily observed from the front door. Outdoor jacuzzi, too!

Hi! I'm a single gal who came to Mustang Island from Minnesota...seeking a place to retire. But it's so gorgeous here, I moved myself down here ahead of my timeline! I live here permanently now -- but runaway to Minnesota each summer, so you can rent my place out now! I have a small business in Corpus Christi. I spend my summers in Minnesota and rent out my condo between Memorial Day and Labor Day Weekends.
Why the Owner Chose Port Aransas
This is one of the LAST undeveloped beaches in America! It's paradise here! And I've always wanted to live ON THE OCEAN. Mustang Island is surprisingly affordable, too. The sun, sand and surf are dreamy -- but I adore the PEOPLE of Mustang Island. So very friendly and always ready to help.
The Unique Benefits of this Condominium
THE OCEANFRONT. The view will absolutely knock your socks off! But everyone who stays here remarks in my guest book how my place "feels" like a home. This is NOT a parttime rental property. This is my adored primary residence. It's very "artful" here. I've decorated it with custom works by friends -- including a reproduction of Hokusai's "Tsunami" print that runs down the length of the hallway. All furnishings were carefully chosen and very much of a comfy beachy feel. Perhaps my place is not best for families with toddlers and babies...but older kids and adults.

Well...it's time to start thinking about another summer for my guests! The calls and emails are starting to come in at a brisk pace now. I'm already booked a good 3-4 weeks of the three month season! Will YOU be my guest this year in 2009? I'm so THRILLED by how my guests received the condo last year after it's NEW updates. It's so "artful" now! So many new things...furnishings! I love it so! But it will soon be time for me to jump in my little car and spend my summer up in Minnesota with beloved friends/family. I HOPE YOU HAVE WONDERFUL SUMMER 2009! It took me 3 years, but I was finally able to leave Minneapolis, MN and make this my year-round residence. EXCEPT for SUMMERS! That's when YOU are invited to live here and enjoy the breath-taking view of the Gulf of Mexico. New in 2008: interior design by J. Victoria Mohr, an emerging local design talent and artist, who transformed this place from a run-of-the-mill condo...into a warm and inviting place; stylishly current and worthy of a "Coastal Living" magazine photo shoot. I'm saddened how I must leave each summer (my work requires it)... but trust that remarkable guests...their friends and family will enjoy its beauty and be kind caretakers for me.
