BANDIT'S LAIR is located atop one of the highest elevations found on the Northern Outer Banks, NC. Between this gracious home and the Atlantic Ocean is the 11th Fairway of the prestigious Currituck Club, a private community. Free trolley service is available right from your door to all the amenities of the club plus to the beach.
Once at the beach, valet service will set up all your beach equipment also for no charge. At the beach entrance are bathrooms, snack bar and beach rental store. It doesn't get any easier than this. Bandit's Lair was designed to take advantage of the incredible water and golf views and offer some of the finest amenities available with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy them all.
Starting at ground level (40' elevation), views abound even from the pool area. Here you will find a 16' x 32' heated pool, surrounded by oversized lounging/patio areas. Sit at 'The Firefly Bar' located under the pergola or take a dip in the hot tub. Wander inside to the kitchenette for a snack or to the game room with full size billiard and ping pong tables.
Decks abound at this home, giving each room a view, sun or shade and privacy, if so desired. There are a total of 7 bedrooms. Three are Master Suites plus an additional private double suite to accommodate families of all sizes and ages. The main Master Suite is elegantly furnished and offers glorious ocean views including amazing sunrises. The two sided fireplace is perfect for watching while lounging in bed or in the Jacuzzi in the spacious tiled master bath.
A large open living area greets you on the top floor which can be arrived at by elevator or stairs. A gourmet kitchen offers all the amenities including granite counters and an island prep sink. The dining room can handle large groups as can the oversized decks for informal entertaining and panoramic ocean, sound and golf course views.
Above the Great Room is the most 'special space' at Bandit's Lair-the Ship's Watch-where you are nearly 70' above sea level. Incredible views, from Duck, NC to the VA border, stretching from ocean to sound with fairway views in-between. From this cozy loft or the loft's private deck, you can enjoy a sunrise with your morning coffee or a sunset with an evening cocktail. The sun coming and going is a bit different everyday, however the serenity and beauty at Bandit's Lair is perfect every time.
