  Our 8-person family stayed in this immaculate and well kept home. The owner said it was fully stocked and he was right. The kitchen was awesome as we cooked in all meals except one and the accommodations were just as described and fit us well. We used all the deck to lounge and eat, all of the downstairs eating areas, the grill, the outdoor shower, the golf cart, toys, and several other items available to us. Recommended highly and we look forward to returning again!

  We stayed a week and were really sad to leave this beautiful home. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed! Even an old fashioned pop corn popper the kids loved! The view was beautiful, neighbors & residents very friendly. The house was very clean and the golf cart was a big plus! Fresh seafood market across the street! Thank you Joe for allowing our family to stay in your home!

  For those who are lookinig for a beautiful and serene stay on Galveston Island, this is the place for you! The home is quite charming and includes all the comforts of home! It's just a hop, skip and jump away from the beach and with the added convenience of a golf cart, you're there in just a minute or two--without having to haul all the beach toys! The rooms are comfortable and the kitchen is great with all the latest appliances. My family enjoyed the long weekend as we took advantage of my younger brother's graduation ceremony from medical school and turned that into a family reunion/vacation. My compliments to the home owners who keep their home immaculate and welcoming. I definitely recommend this home!

  We enjoyed our stay at Abaco House very much! The owners have gone to great effort to make this rental home as relaxing & peaceful as possible. My favorite things about the rental include having the use of the golf cart (the beach is fairly close, but far enough away that you would prefer not to carry your beach gear that far), all of the comfortable outdoor seating, the updated, modern appliances in the kitchen, and having access to the nearby country club! The only minor issues we had were with a few of the closet doors being off their hinges (no biggie), and the main TV's volume control had a mind of its own, and 1 bed room stayed a bit warmer than all the other rooms (though not unbearably so). The positives far outweighed those minor negatives and we will definitely stay here again! Thanks so much!

  Great place to stay, very comfortable and includes everything you need for a vacation. Even when you have to fly in. Close enough to the beach, far enough from the noise and parties. Nice area of the island. More than enough room for everyone and everything worked great. Will contact owner again for next USA vacation.

  I rented this property for an all girls/birthday weekend for a group of friends and myself, and we absolutely LOVED this house! The owners are more than accommodating: they reply quickly to email and phone messages; they’re friendly and helpful; and they provide thorough instructions in the house for checking in and out, how to set up Wi-Fi access, etc. Practically every amenity one can think of is provided: TV, internet, a golf cart, propane grill, and so on. There was more than enough room in the house for our group (linens are provided), there’s plenty of parking, and the beach access from the house was just perfect. You can’t see the beach from the house, but it’s a very quick and easy walk—or golf cart ride—away. In our case, we did a lot of cooking at the house, and we were SUPER impressed by the kitchen: it was fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, cutlery, etc.; the refrigerator was huge (and clean); and the dishwasher was big help in our cleanup process. This was a big selling point for us, I think. Our group will DEFINITELY stay here again. In fact, some of the girls are already talking about staying again in the next few months. I cannot recommend this rental enough. Stay here and you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about.

  We rented this house for a week and we had a great time! The beach is only a couple minutes' walk away and the golf cart was really nice for carrying all of our stuff. I would definitely rent this property again.
