Bayberry Cove is the perfect Chesapeake Bay private retreat for a family vacation or a group of friends and kids to get away from it all. The house is just 100 feet from the water's edge. It is a 5 bedroom (4 bedrooms downstairs and a large sleeping loft bedroom with full bath upstairs) vacation home with large wrap around decks, a 16' x 28' swimming Pool, a large hot-tub, pool area safety gates, and an electronic safety pool cover to insure children and pets don't wander into the pool accidentally. There are Four Full Bathrooms. Pets are welcome.
Bayberry Cove offers Eleven (11.6) acres of private waterfront property nestled along a private creek on the east side of the property (1200 feet of shoreline) running North to South with the south side of the property facing Fishing creek (800 feet of shoreline). The private beach is about 60 yards wide and faces the south side and runs east and west.
Enjoy breathtaking views of the Little Choptank River& Fishing Creek from our expansive deck and enjoy the massaging jets in our therapeutic spa year round. Peace and quiet are abundant on this property, most of all.
When you are done swimming in the pool, you can take an outdoor shower and wash the chlorine off your body with hot and cold running water in the outdoor private shower stall before drying off and going in the house.
At night, you can enjoy sitting in the hot tub with a refreshing cold beverage while you view the brilliant stars and milky way galaxy. There is no light pollution surrounding this property.
Fish and crab from our pier or in the creek and river. Owner's tandem-kayak (2 person) and 14' skiff (3 seater) are available at no extra charge for use at your own risk. Bike and boat Rentals are available.
Sleeping arrangements: Four bedrooms have queen beds that sleep two people each or eight total. The fifth bedroom has two bunk beds to sleep four. The living room's couch folds out to a queen bed. There is one roll-away bed that can be put in one of the larger bedrooms or in the living room or loft. (Fifteen people at max can sleep in beds)
We include all pillows, linens, towels, pool towels, and blankets. We offer a fully stocked (utensils, plates, dishes, glasses;etc) kitchen with propane stove, large butcher block countertops, and outside there is a nice gas stove and charcoal smoker grill, as well. There are two coffee makers. There is an electric turkey roaster, microwave, and toaster. There is a blender for making frozen drinks. There is a nice utility room with washer and dryer.
There is a vacuum cleaner and a rug steam cleaner.
We do not allow Weddings/Large Parties: Our vacation home is in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood and we like to keep it that way. The nearest neighbor is 1/4 mile away but nevertheless, we do not allow large parties, weddings, wedding receptions, or large family reunions. We like to limit the amount of people to 15 on the property at maximum. Please call us to discuss. |
