This highly desirable sixth floor mountain view unit at Lahaina Shores Beach Resort features a fully equipped kitchen with standard size appliances and a firm California King size bed. And an unobstructed, memorable view of the West Maui Mountains. (There's also a rollaway bed with a standard size mattress for a third guest.)
This 550 sq. ft. studio consists of a full bath with a separate vanity area, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area and a large living/bedroom area. Amenities include central air conditioning, microwave oven, full size range, full size refrigerator and cable TV with a VCR. Plus a stereo CD/tape/fm player and a direct phone for free on-Maui calls (saving you 75¢ per call). In addition, there's a laundry room on each floor. The commercial grade appliances are coin operated.
My Lahaina Shores Beachfront Resort studio apartment provides the complete furnishings of a vacation home combined with the "niceties" of a beachfront resort hotel which include an open, breezy, comfortably furnished lobby, central air conditioning, large swimming pool, large jacuzzi, 24 hr. front desk ....
The central air conditioning has been completely replaced and now has individual electronic controls. The entryway, the lobby, elevators and hallways have been completely remodeled and are really looking "Hawaiian elegant." A recent guest described Lahaina Shores as a "somewhere in time kinda' place." Its newly restored character is no doubt inspired by early Hawaiian plantation mansions.
High speed internet connection is now available. Service is provided by Oceanic Time Warner Cable who will charge your credit card at a rate of $9.95 per 24 hr. day or $39.95 per week. Easy access instructions are posted in each unit.
On site parking is $3.65 per night payable at the front desk. Also, there is a coin operated commercial grade laundry room on each floor for guest convenience. There are no other charges.

The property is fronted by the ocean and has a beach which is excellent for sunbathing, safe swimming and snorkeling. (There's a reef about 150 yds. out which protects the beach from surf.) The large, manicured swimming pool area between the building and the beach is enhanced with umbrella'd tables & chairs, plus loungers for reading, sunning and snoozing. There's even a heated, bubbling, jacuzzi spa!
At 475 Front St., this is the only beachfront resort in Lahaina. It's just a 3/10 mile walk down Front St. to quaint, historic Lahaina Town itself, Maui’s storied shop-’til-you-drop, gallery hopping, dining & partying mecca.
