What a lovely villa. Quite the most well equipped villa we have been in. Super large beds..very comfortable and 2 en suite___ a luxury we really enjoyed. We brought our own bikes...all those lovely French roads with no one on them. A real treat compared with UK cycling.

The "little house" has provided a wonderful haven where we have been able to totally relax and recharge after a busy year. We had our first french holiday to this region 30 years ago, so it was wonderful to retrace and find that despite the passing of time, it still holds that peace among the hilltop villages, with the scent of wild thyme and mint on the air. It has been a joy and we can only thank Mary and Philip for providing a stunning location in which to recapture our dreams.

Our second visit to this excellent villa. This is an ideal place to rest and relax, but it is equally good for visiting the many interesting and varied towns and historical sites. One can never be bored in this lovely area. Uzès must rank as one of the most delightful towns in France. The market is one of the best in the area.

Thank you for your warm welcome...it's been a pleasure to stay in your beautiful, well presented house--it has been a real home from home. A week just wasn't enough as there are so many more places to see.. Thank you for everything

A beautiful house, superbly furnished and equipped. We all enjoyed our two week holiday in this lovely region. The pool and the terrace were enjoyed every day along with the local restaurants. We are leaving but would love to return.

Regrettably, we are preparing to leave this wonderful place, where we have spent a completely delightful four weeks. Everything about it, location, appointments, infrastructure... is exceptional, making this one of very best accommodations we've enjoyed in many years of renting in Europe. Mary and Philip have been perfect hosts, discreet, self effacing, yet ready for counsel and advice when asked. The local produce is so wonderful, the markets so intriguing and the kitchen so well equipped that we ate all our evening meals "at home".

We arrived late (and tired)and after dark and were greeted by a magical sight--the outside garden lighting, a delight we will remember for a long time. The villa is very comfortable, beautifully appointed, fully equipped and lacking nothing (a gourmet chef, which I am not, could cook with ease in the kitchen) and having so many additional thoughtful touches. Many thanks, Mary and Philip.

We have just had a lovely week in Provence. The house is beyond criticism! UZES is a real gem with the Place aux Herbes full of French ambiance. We look forward to coming this way again.
