  This was the first time we rented through VRBO. It was a great experience. The owner was a pleasure to deal with. Professional, available and great communicator. The house exceeded our expectations. It was absolutely beautiful and was perfect for our families. Kids had their own area. The kitchen was huge and had everything we needed. We felt right at home. Very spacious, yet cozy. It was a very convenient location. We will definitley go back again and would highly recommend if you are looking for a get away.

  We've been renting homes in the Tahoe area over the last 25+ years for our Family Thanksgiving Getaway, and this is one of the best homes we’ve rented. The large kitchen, dining, and living room easily accommodated our group of 10; our teenage grandson liked the large dining table because he could easily place 2-3 plates in front of him without encroaching on his neighbor (he loves to eat!). We each had our privacy with the 4 bedrooms (which included 2 masters) and 4 bathrooms (yeah!!). The foosball downstairs was certainly an added bonus for our 3 grown sons and 2 grandsons. We often heard lots of shouting and hoorays while the rest of us read and played games upstairs. All in all, the property description was very accurate and clean, and the owner was very responsive in answering any questions we had. It's very conveniently located and we highly recommend this property for your family gathering.

  Great home - we stayed there as part of our Tough Mudder weekend. The layout of the house is great for groups: big open kitchen and dining table makes for great group activities and events. The home is inside Tahoe Donner, so easy to get to the various important areas of North Tahoe. Will definitely stay there again!

  First, I'd like to complement you on how well your pictures represented the property. Ergo, there were no surprises. The house was extremely well furnished and appointed...the kitchen had everything we needed. We especially liked the spaciousness of the living/dining/kitchen area. On our last night, the rest of the gang who were staying in a second house came by for dinner...it was fantastic to be able to seat all of us (12) at the same table. The setting for the house was beautiful and VERY quiet. A very, very nice place to spend time. We look forward to our next stay.

  We brought up a sizeable crew, ranging from 2 to 46 years old, and found this to be a remarkable place. We actually got snowed in one day and it was one of the most memorable days I've ever experienced. It's a nice 4-bedroom, but there is a downstairs family room that converts nicely into a 5th if you need it - we wound up using that configuration. I'm betting it could be even better in the summer, given its proximity to the golf course, but it's a great spot regardless.

  It is a lovely home to vacation in. Its set in a lovely location, on a golf course The area is first class with beautiful homes surrounding it. We have enjoyed many great holidays there in the immaculate home. everything in the spacious home is first class and well mantained. I can heartily recommend this home as a first class property in a great area. You will love it there..

  We had a great time at the house. Your house is beautiful. Plenty of room for all 12 of us. It was perfect for our large group. The boys had a great time playing outside in the snow. It was so nice to be in a house that is really a home. You had absolutely everything we needed and it didn't feel like a rental. We had great dinners, lots of good conversations around the table and good games of foosball and poker. We hope to return again in the near future.

  We had a great time at your beautiful home. We've stayed at a handful of Tahoe Donner houses and yours was our favorite so far. The kids loved exploring in the large backyard and riding bikes up and down the driveway. The large great room was perfect for big group meals and the layout of the home allows for a little separation from the little ones if need be ;). Thanks also for the prompt communication and an easy rental experience.

  Fabulous home in a great neighborhood! I give this home 5 stars! This home is immaculately maintained. The rooms and bathrooms are spotless. I loved the open floor plan. The kitchen is complete. We spent Christmas 2008 in this home and it was a truly memorable vacation for us.

  We came back from our 4-night stay in June 2008 at this beautiful and spacious home. Everyone in our group loved it! The house is new and has nice furniture and well decorated. The high-end kitchen was very well equipped and we LOVE the long center counter space and the LONG dining table. It is so great to be able to sit everyone together for dinner at the big table (12 - 8 adults and 4 kids). We cooked every meal during our stay. We love that this house has 4 bathrooms so every couple had their own bathrooms and we never have to share or have a situation where anyone have to wait for the bathroom. My 3-yr old son is GLUED to the foosball table. I can always find him there when I look for him. The only thing that I can think of to make this house more perfect is an addition of a TV in the Great Room. The 4 kids always occupied the downstairs TV either with cartoons or games. Would've been nice if the adults can use another TV in the great room to watch movies, sports or our own Wii games during our down time. It's not super important since we're out most of the day but nice to have. The 2 stories layout provides good separation for privacy and isolation from our kids noise downstairs. =) This home also has a basketball hoop which we played everyday at the driveway. We're very happy with this house. We've stayed at 3 other homes at Donner Lake and this is our first time at Tahoe Donner. This is by far the nicest house with the best floorplan and comfort. We will definitely return the next time we go to Tahoe Donner.
