Great Condo!

We Had a great week of skiing. Condo is right on the bus route picked us up every morning and drop us every night. That was very convenient. The condo was clean and they had everything that we needed for cooking. Great place for families. Owners were very helpful even brought down a sleeping bag for my grandkids. Hot tub was wonderful after a hard day skiing. Look forward to coming back next year

Disappointing Sawmill Station Rental Experience

This was a disappointing rental experience: the listing description at the time of booking and arrival at the property was inaccurate. The photo caption for the 3rd bedroom said that the existing bunk beds would be replaced with 2 single beds. However, when we arrived we found that the bunks had simply been split and the room arrangement was unsuitable for one adult, let alone two. (Note that the owners have not yet posted a photo of the current arrangement although the caption was altered while we were at the property). We booked a 3 bed/3 bath property, and the solution suggested by the owner to use the sleeper sofa did not work for us as we had paid for, and expected, three private sleeping areas. The response from the owner was inadequate, in my opinion they were uninterested in our satisfaction with the property and I would not recommend this listing to anyone wishing to use the third bedroom.
Owner response:In response to the disappointing rental review, we as owners would like to say that we too are disappointed. We have never received a negative review in the six years we have been renting our townhome. We strive to keep our unit in good shape - well decorated - fully equipped - clean - Wifi, etc. for the comfort and enjoyment of our guests. We have 2 guest books full of kind reviews from happy guests. We thought we had resolved the situation after we gave suggestions and did not receive a call back, but obviously not. We are sorry to have any disappointed guests. We have since replaced the futon with another single bed so that now the third bedroom has 2 single beds and please note the new photo reflecting exactly how the room looks. We felt that the futon and the single bed did give more options and in no way were trying to misrepresent the accomodations. So please continue to call us for a very wonderful experience in Winter Park! We love our unit, its great location and feel confident you will too!

This property offers great accomodations! Good beds, great kitchen/accessories, comfortable beds...and CLEAN! Ski shuttle is only a few steps away which offers convenience and flexibility in getting to/from the slopes. Pictures on the VRBO site are accurate, hot tub was fantastic. Recommend this unit for any/all who desire a comfortable and convenient place. Owners were very helpful in answering our questions.

We had a wonderful stay in this well appointed condo. The layout and accomodations worked wonderfully for two couples. Room to spread out, have your own space and have friends in and hang out together. The owners have thought of everything you will need for a comfortable stay!
