This fully airconditioned penthouse apartment is on the top floor, above a retail art store. It has 3 bedrooms (Queen, Full and Two Twins), 2 full baths, living room, dining area, kitchen and deck with chairs and chaises. The house is nicely decorated and the gourmet kitchen contains all utensils and appliances. The house has 2 TV’s, 1 VCR/DVD ,cable and wireless high speed internet access. The renter only needs to bring linens and towels. The apartment is lovely and quiet, infact it has been described by renters as a “peaceful aerie”.
We rent Saturday to Saturday, so if you see a Saturday blocked out on the calendar, but the following week is free, then the property is available from Saturday after 2:00 until 10:00 am the following Saturday.

In downtown Barnegat Light - such as it is - and one block from the beach. You can walk everywhere you need to go. Comfortable and well outfitted, yet easy to maintain, the house has lasted 2 generations of family so far.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment
The beach, the water, the wonderful sea air - need we say more? OK, boating, fishing, clamming, eating, barbecuing, partying, etc.
This is the closest beach and the most beautiful - but it is a walk to the water. Most folks go down to the beaches around 20th Street - parking is free.
Boat rentals and public docks including boat ramp. Try renting one day at least - great fun.
Charter fishing boats, real fishing boats (look for boat used in "The Perfect Storm"), fish monger, and other stores. Don't leave without trying scallops and swordfish - nothing like them caught fres
Owner's Map of Barnegat Light
This apartment and building were bought by our family in the nineties. Managed by one of the kids (shown with her hubby), it has been the site of many family gatherings and good times too numerous to mention. As the siblings can use it less often these days, it is being rented and shared with everyone who appreciates the Jersery Shore! Don't be turned off that it is above a store - that is reflected in the price and you will truly enjoy it!
