"Monte Vista" is the quintessential Wine Country living experience... views, privacy, vineyards, and a perfectly restored vintage 1895 farmhouse. The owners, who have developed an internationally acclaimed Cabernet Sauvignon, have recently moved to an adjacent ranch. Now their former residence, which received the Napa Valley Award for historical preservation, is available to let for monthly or longer periods."
The farmhouse includes a living room with fireplace, dining room, kitchen, two bedrooms (each with bath), and outside porches. The nearby "bunkhouse" may be available. It has its own fireplace, kitchen, and bathroom.
The living quarters are furnished with antiques. A hot tub is tucked into gardens beneath an incense cedar tree. A large spring-fed swimming pond with its own terraces is a fabulous entertaining area. Entrance to the farmhouse and pond is through its own dedicated electronically operated gate. A stone root cellar is available for wine storage.
