"Sea Mist" was Brand New in 2005! This Breathtaking home is located in the prestigous Gulf Front, Gated community of The Dunes of Destin. This exclusive community consists of 65 multi-million dollar homes surrounding a freshwater lake with lighted fountains and approx. 600 feet of private, deeded beach.
This home is just a short (3-4 minute) walk to the beach & community pool. The walk is on a footbridge over the lake and past a few homes. You can also walk to Big Kahuna's water park, shopping & restaurants. There is a private spa/pool (8 feet x 14 feet) on the deck overlooking the lake - what a way to relax!
The six bedroom, 3.5 bath floorplan is perfect for several couples or multiple families. There is plenty of space to gather & then retreat to your own private bedroom. You have spectacular water views of the lake & Gulf from walls of windows. There is a covered balcony off of every room in this house (including the laundry room). You know you are at the beach from the moment you step inside this stunning home!
Sea Mist is not a "typical rental" house. No expense was spared in decorating & everything is kept in excellent condition.
Many upgrades include a 42" Plasma TV, LCD flat screen TV, Ralph Lauren master bedroom suite, Pottery Barn furnishings, upgraded mattresses, 300+ count linens, Tommy Hilfiger bath towels, silk drapes, Jen-Air Gas grill & outdoor rainfall shower (hot/cold).
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need to prepare a gourmet meal. It features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and Cuisinart small appliances. Indoor dining tables seat a total of 10 (kitchen seats 4 and dining table seats 6) along with plenty of exterior dining space. All dishes, utensils, cookware, bakeware and outdoor dining utensils & dishes are provided.
The 8'x14' swim spa has bucket seats with jets on one end and room to swim on the other end. It is 4 feet deep. There is also a community swimming pool with lounge chairs and bathrooms available for your use.
Bedroom set-up is as follows:
1st floor: 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed and 1 full bathroom
2nd floor: 1 bedroom with queen bed and 1/2 bathroom
3rd floor: 1 bedroom with 1 set of bunk beds (full on bottom/twin on top) and a cot, 1 bedroom with 1 queen bed, 1 full bathroom in hallway and the Master Suite.
The Master suite consists of a king bed, desk area (with fax/copier/scanner), full balcony with Hammock & bistro table and of course the master bath. Relax by candlelight in the corner jacuzzi tub (surrounded by windows for wonderful views).
Extra ammenities included are: 2 bikes, 2 wagons, a beach cart, hairdryers, pool towels, fishing rods, beach toys, propane tanks for gas grill, paper products, and more.
