Myself, my wife and our two children (4&7) travelled from Dublin to this most amazing place on the Dingle Peninsula. Breathtaking views and peaceful surroundings. It's that good that all the typing in the world couldn't describe it. The only way to understand how truly amazing this part of the world is, is to visit - and this cottage will add to the experience. Waking up at 7am with sheep in the front garden - brilliant. Thanks, Suzy!!!!
Owner response:I'm so pleased you found the cottage as relaxing and fun as we do! The area has a major claim on my heart and we hope to retire there in the near future. We look forward to your visiting our home again, if you travel to that part of the world. Thank you!

My husband, daughter and his parents and I found the perfect getaway when we stayed at this sweet cottage in August 2010. The views from the cottage are everything you've ever dreamed of! The location is ideal for visiting the Dingle peninsula & many days we ventured out to Cobh, Kilkenny, Kilarney etc. but my favorite days were spent right here. Walks down the lane are just incredible, the beautiful vibrant fuchsias & the endless delicious blackberries, our favorite two friendly cows...you can walk to the pub, the little store for supplies and the beach...or hop in the car & sightsee & shop in Dingle, enjoy the pubs & the people! The owner was incredibly nice, informative and easy to talk with. I would love to come back, but maybe just the two of us next time - the cottage is very romantic!!!

We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful cottage in September. We were there to celebrate my Mom's 70th birthday. It was a magical vacation and one we'll never forget. The Dingle Peninsula is just breathtaking and the people we encountered were so welcoming. The cottage felt like our home for the week and we cannot wait to return someday.

Thanks so much to Suzy and Don for sharing their wonderful hideaway. It was truly a vacation of a lifetime and we can not begin to say enough good things about the cottage and all the friendly people in the area. The beauty of the entire area is beyond words. I hope we can be fortunate enough to return to this wonderful place again. It was truly a blessing we will never forget.

What a wonderful place. The pictures of the cottage and the countryside are apt, but don't do either justice, nor could they. Time became unimportant while we stayed here, and what more could you ask for? Close to the beach, the pub and the mountains, and views as good as anywhere on earth. WOW! Many thanks.

The pictures of the cottage really don't do it justice at all. It's great! It's in a great location and you feel right at home as soon as you open the door. It's in a beautiful part of Ireland to boot. I'd highly recommend it.We loved it. ~Marc H.

My husband and I recently got back from staying at this cottage for our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. This chalet is located in an ideal location. It is only a short walk from the beach and about a 10 minute drive from the town of Dingle. We really enjoyed having a nice and quiet place to stay especially on the nights that we wanted to get away from the town and have a cozy night in front of the fireplace. The scenery is serene, we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place to stay. We both would highly recommend this chalet to anyone thinking about traveling to Ireland. We can't wait to go back.

The pictures do not do this justice!! A really serene, lovely location and a wonderful cottage. Up on a hill looking over the bay of Ventry. Can walk to nice beach, pub and small store. Need to drive a few miles into Dingle but for us this quiet spot was perfect.
