We are Situated right on the shore overlooking Kootenay Lake . A beautiful 'Hidden Vacation Rental' GEM right in the middle of the Purcell and Selkirk Mountains. We are nestled between 2 lakes. Kootenay Lake, about 2 miles wide and approximately 90 miles long, and Mirror Lake, a 5 or 10 minute walk behind our property.

Our 2 bedroom cottage is definitely a hideaway that features a wood interior, full kitchen and a real wood stove, with a glass fire door. We have electric heat and electric stove also; large tile and carpeting in the bedrooms
One Queen and in other bedroom 2 singles. Total 4 people.

A deck on the lake side to view and appreciate all of God's wonders. And, yes, we do have lake access, unlike so many other properties.

We are so hidden, it is hard to believe the amenities of shopping and hospital in historic Kaslo are only 3 miles away. You won’t want to leave this hideaway.

Relaxing with a pretty view.

Renters friendly, lots of by hiking. Love how great they were with our dog;)

Beautiful BC getaway!

Overall a great place to stay for 3 nights. Cottage is in great condition and you can't beat the location. We enjoyed numerous outdoor adventures each day, all within minutes of the house. Inga and Karl were always helpful and a joy to get to know. Will be back for sure.

Amazing Stay!

Had a great time at this beautiful property just 5 mins south of Kaslo! We visited mid Aug 2019 - Karl and Inga ate fabulous hosts - available for anything you might need but happy to give you privacy too. Perfect location, private beach and great access to Kaslo and surrounding area. Highly recommend!

Little piece of paradise!!!

Karl and Inga were lovely! The cabin has everything one might need and more. The views from the deck are stunning and the beach is beautiful. Couldn't ask for a better spot. We would definitely love to come back!

Beautiful location & cabin.

Had a wonderful time exploring the beach and area. Karl and Inga are wonderful hosts, very friendly. Right there if we needed anything. The property description is exactly as it is. We thoroughly enjoyed early morning coffee on the deck enjoying the beautiful view. Karl always answered my email questions in a timely manner.
