Casa Serra has the capacity to accommodate 12 people in six bedrooms, four of them are king-size (21 m2 or 226 square feet) and the other two are queen-size single (12 m2 or 130 square feet). There are two double beds and eight singles, all the single beds are convertible allowing them to adapt to one double bed or two separates singles.
The living area covers 170 m2 (1825 square feet) and consists of a large lounge (50 m2 or 540 square feet), a living room (25 m2 or 270 square feet) a dining room (25 m2 or 270 square feet) with a table which is able to seat 14 people, a small games room, an old chapel and a business corner with PC, printer, and Internet.
Furnished with central heating, double glazing sound-proofing, air-conditioning, and fully-equipped. Three complete bathrooms and a smaller additional one. The service area consists of a scullery, the kitchen, and a utility room.
LIVING AREA
The area which consists of the dining room, the large lounge with split level section, the green room and the hall opposite the chapel is all open plan covering an area of 170 m2 (1825 square feet). The flooring in this area is platform parquet in restored antique oak.
DINING ROOM - 25 m2 (270 square feet)
The dining room table is made of solid wood measuring 330 cm by 110 cm with a thickness of six cm, which can seat 14 people quite comfortably.
LARGE LOUNGE - 50 m2 (540 square feet)
Disposes of two large sofas with a length of 260 cm, a coffee table measuring 240 cm by 90 cm and a fireplace with chimney (owing to the central heating system and for your own personal safety, firewood is not required to light the fire). The lounge has a music system with CD and radio.
GREEN ROOM - 25 m2 (270 square feet)
Has a sofa that can seat three to four people, four armchairs and a coffee table. The Loewe panoramic TV set with a 32 inches screen and international satellite facilities.
CHAPEL - 9 m2 (100 square feet)
Formerly and until 1990, a private mass service took place here every Sunday. This area, adjoining the games room, has a little table and two armchairs.
GAMES ROOM - 9 m2 (100 square feet)
There is a full-size table football (Catalan) from the 1950's which is in perfect working order, a chess and draughts board, backgammon and other games.
BUSINESS CORNER (SPLIT LEVEL SECTION) - 11 m2 (120 square feet)
This is the business corner which includes a writing desk and chair, a PC with a fast Internet connection, a laser printer and the necessary office automation software (MS Office).
BEDROOM AREA
There are four bedrooms each measuring 21 m2 (230 square feet), two bedrooms each measuring 12 m2 (130 square feet), and three bathrooms with full bath in each one (and one more smaller bathroom located at the service area). Each room has been decorated to create its own personal style and character. All the bedrooms have a wardrobe (except the bedroom #5, see the description). In the halls there are two big wardrobes that can be used by guests if needed.
Bedrooms #1, #2, #3 and #4 (the bigger ones) have an air conditioning. All the bedrooms have a radiator. All the beds have a length of 200 cm. (656 feet).
SUITE: (bedroom #1, bedroom #6, and toilet #1) 40 m2 (430 square feet)
Bedroom #1 together with bedroom #6 and toilet #1 make up a suite that measures 40 m2 (430 square feet). Bedroom #1 has a very large teak bed (the mattress measures 4 m2 or 43 square feet), two bedside tables, and two small armchairs.
BEDROOM #6 (12 m2 or 130 square feet) is the old dressing room of the suite and includes two single beds measuring 90 cm by 200 cm, which can be converted into a double bed measuring 180 cm by 200 cm, a bedside table, an armchair and a wardrobe. Bedroom #1 and the dressing room (or bedroom #6) are separated from each other by the toilet and two doors.
BEDROOMS #2, #3 AND #4 - 21 m2 or 230 square feet (each one). Each room has two single beds measuring 90 cm by 200 cm. These beds have a special system that allow them into double beds. Guests should decide which configuration they require at the time of making the reservation (or with as much notice as possible) so that they can be prepared with the necessary single or double sheets. Each room also has a bedside table, two small armchairs, and a built-in wardrobe.
BEDROOM #5 - 10 m2 (110 square feet) - Small but cosy bedroom with two single beds measuring 90 cm by 200 cm which can convert into a double bed measuring 180 cm by 200 cm. So as not to lose space, this room does not have a wardrobe. Guests using this room have at their disposition the two big wardrobes, previously mentioned, which are situated outside the room and four metres from the door.
SERVICE AREA
Below the split level section, from the large lounge, or through a door from the dining room, you come to the service area, made up of the "office" or the scullery, the kitchen, a larder, a utility room, washing machine and dryer, and a staircase that leads to the three old bedrooms and toilet.
SCULLERY: 12 m2 (130 square feet) - It includes a stainless steel fridge, a cold and plain mineral water tap, a washbasin and a breakfast bar.
KITCHEN: 12 m2 (130 square feet)
Casa Serra maintains the charm of the old-fashioned style kitchen. The gas cooker has an electric oven, and the dishwasher is stainless steel. There is also a toaster, food mixer, microwave oven, coffee pot and all the cooking utensils and containers that you require, all of which are made from top quality materials.
