Perfect location! We chose to walk almost everywhere, and were able to get to everything on foot. The apartment accommodated our group of 5 ladies nicely, and the owners separated the twin beds prior to our arrival so everyone had their own bed. We arrived in the very early morning after an all night flight, and early access to the apartment was accommodated. The kitchen is well equipped and the apartment was clean. We had a few 'maintenance' type issues (doorknobs coming off in our hands, sliding panels coming off their tracks and falling, shower head coming off its holder, broken transom window in the bathroom which made the bathroom very cold). We were also disappointed that there wasn't much guest information available (where to catch the metro, nearest grocery store/market, how to use the phone and retrieve messages, etc.) and basically no 'check in' by the owners. The gentleman greeting us upon arrival handed us keys and then vanished. In my opinion, photos on the VRBO site enhance the overall appearance of the flat. We enjoyed our stay, however, and there was room for 6 in twin beds and additional space on the sofa if necessary.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Six of us (5 adult sisters + mom) stayed here for 7 nights in July 2012 to celebrate our mother's 80th birthday. The apartment was wonderful and exactly as described both on the web-site and by our contact, Philippe. We were within walking distance to all the sites yet the location of the apartment (upscale neighborhood right off Blvd St. Germaine) was peaceful, charming and safe. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed. Phillipe answered all our questions thoroughly and was very accomodating with our special requests i.e. installing a portable AC unit in advance in case we hit a heat wave (which we did not!). I would highly recommend this property and would not hesitate to recommend Phillipe to my friends and family. Great rental especially for the location and price. Thank you Philippe and Sofie!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
