This elegant Mediterranean-style villa offers three bedrooms and three bathrooms in a former interior designer’s house in a quiet setting just minutes from some of Miami Beach’s top beaches, restaurants and shopping plazas.
The 2,500-square foot Villa Palma is located in Miami Beach on an avenue of stately homes and villas, just a few blocks from the Atlantic Ocean and a few minutes from bustling Lincoln Road and the Miami Beach Convention Center.
The fully air-conditioned house is just minutes from public beaches, shopping and the happening South Beach part of town. Yet the house is very private, located on a beautifully landscaped 8,000 square foot lot with a private pool surrounded by a beautiful canopy of palm trees and flowers.
A formal entrance area leads to an elegant L-shaped living room with two custom-built Italian sofas, limestone floors, and a fireplace. Off to the side is a formal dining room centered around a glass table set on two ornately carved Italian wooden pedestals.
Continuing toward the back of the house on the ground floor, terracotta tiles lead to a completely renovated kitchen with stainless steel Kitchen Aid appliances, granite counter tops and a Dacor stove. The kitchen area includes a separate breakfast alcove filled with natural light and a granite table.
A covered deck area wraps around the back of the house for additional dining options, and beyond is a garden with a brick walkway to the driveway.
The ground floor of the house continues to the back with a small room with a washer and dryer, a full bathroom and large den room with television and DVD player.
Stairs from the back of the living room lead up to three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bedroom has an en suite limestone-lined bathroom with a completely enclosed shower. A door from this bedroom also leads to a large outdoor terrace.
A second master bedroom has a television as well. As in the other upstairs rooms, the third bedroom has a double bed, a wooden floor and a ceiling fan. The other second floor bathroom is also lined with limestone.
Due to the rich array of furniture and decoration throughout the house, no children under 12 or pets are allowed.

As you drive up to this Mediterranean-style villa, you’ll find yourself on a road decorated in the quintessential Miami Beach style. The road is lined with palm trees and the house is surrounded by colorful plants and flowers. The bright terracotta exterior was perfectly beachy and made me “beary” excited for my Miami getaway.
As you walked through the arched mahogany door, you stepped into a bright, open space with marble tiles that were cool on my paws. There was a seating area right off the kitchen with views of the gardens and another formal dining area with seats for an entire bear family. The kitchen was beautifully decorated with updated appliances and unique translucent cabinets. However, the outdoor living space was the most impressive of all. We relaxed under the gazebo where we appreciated the carefully manicured gardens. We rested our paws on the chaise lounges by the private pool, flanked by extra-large palm trees.
Miami’s famous nightlife scene may not be open to bears, but I certainly feel like I had a true Miami Beach experience. After a long day of lounging at the beach and exploring nearby sights like Lincoln Road and Ocean Drive, it was nice to return home to the villa’s spacious bedrooms with extra-comfy mattresses, soft sheets and private TVs. Unwinding and washing the sand off my fur in the steam room shower in the master bedroom was also quite a treat.
The home’s location, convenience, amenities and overall comfort were so wonderful that I’m tempted to skip hibernation this year and spend my winter at this Miami Beach villa.

We took a all couples vacation to Miami and we stayed at the Mediterranean Home for a week and we all loved it. It was my first time renting a private home and it was the best experience ever. We didn't have to deal with a lot of other people. It was quite, roomy, clean, and very romantic for my couples and I. The pictures on line were accurate but seeing the house in person was more awesome then seeing the pictures. The house was very clean and the property was very maintained. Joe the owner was very helpful, friendly, and awesome to work with. He made our stay there very spectacular and he was always just a phone call away if we had any questions or needed anything. I plan to rent this home again when we come back to Miami in the near future. I would also recommend this property to my friends and relatives.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

we had a wonderful week in this villa. It was much nicer that we expected. it was very private, well decorated with a beautiful garden and pool. we will stay here again on our next visit to Miami Beach.
