Walk out the front door over the bridge to the gorgeous Inverness lagoon-side pool and clay tennis courts. Inverness is one of the only villages in Palmetto dunes with its own tennis courts.

Enjoy the DVD collection and the ability to stream the full Netflix Library as well as Pandora music. The villa also has a Nintendo Wii gaming system for your enjoyment. The Villa can sleep up to ten and is inclusive of 1 King, 1 Queen, 2 Twins, each with a trundle, and a pull-out sofa on the main level. Each bedroom is paired with a full bath. This two story villa has everything you need for the ideal Hilton Head vacation.
The beach is less than one mile, a nice walk or easy bike ride, with free parking in two locations for those that prefer to drive. Additional photos available upon request.
Inverness Village is located in the Palmetto Dunes Resort, which features three golf courses, scenic lagoons stocked with fish and accessible by canoe or kayak, on site restaurants, a general store, bicycle rentals and miles of beautiful beach.
The resort is conveniently located mid-island, directly across from the Arts center, Shelter Cove dining, shopping and recreation area and the mall. If you wish, The Dunes Buggy will transport you around Palmetto Dunes or to Shelter Cove, at no cost.

Why the Owner Chose Inverness Village
After vacationing in Hilton Head for five years, we knew we wanted to create more great family memories here and eventually retire to the Island. It was an obvious next step for us to buy this vacation home. Palmetto Dunes is the perfect blend of beach, golf, tennis, boating, and just plain relaxing. The setting is truly paradise to us.

We chose this villa because of the spectacular views, the beautiful setting of Inverness village, and the world class amenities Palmetto dunes offers. As avid tennis players, golfers, and beachgoers this villa offers the best in views and location that the village and Palmetto dunes can offer. Since we can not be there all the time, we want to share it with others to make their own Hilton Head memories.

We spent the week of Christmas at this villa and it was wonderful! From the time we opened the door we felt right at home . The villa is very spacious and comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook Christmas dinner. The back deck is huge and has a beautiful view of the lagoon and golf course. We've been going to Hilton Head for 20 years and we normally stay oceanfront. This golf villa was more than ideal and was very quiet and peaceful, with just a short bike ride or walk to the beach. The owner and property manager are very friendly, responsive and great to work with. We will definitely return to this villa in Inverness!

My family spent Thanksgiving weekend in this condo, and we just had a blast! The condo is so well appointed and equipped and has a beautiful view of the lagoon and golf course. We enjoyed morning coffee on the deck overlooking the golf course and enjoyed watching the herons and other birds fish in the lagoon. My kids enjoyed all the flat screen TV's, and we all enjoyed a couple of evening movies in the comfortable family room! We didn't do much cooking as is our tradition on vacation, but the kitchen was well equipped for any cooking people would like to do. The location of the condo is great too - very quiet, yet so convenient to the beach, convenience store in Palmetto Dunes, tennis and pool. We rented bikes in Palmetto Dunes and enjoyed lots of bike rides on the beach and in the neighborhood. The condo even had a great place to store our bikes. We have rented lots of VRBO places in the past, and we could just tell the owner has taken time and interest to make this special and comfortable for his guests. We will definitely return to HIlton Head Island and stayin this condo in the near future!

Our family had the best time at the villa in Hilton Head! It was the perfect place for us to meet up with our friends from North Carolina and it had everything our two families needed! The views of the lagoon are fantastic! We even caught some nice redfish right out the back door! We will definitely be back again! We also recommend Off the Hook Charters and Riding Tigers bike rentals.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children.
