This is a classic Sheridan Beach cottage with five bedrooms and two and a half baths. Sleeps up to 10. We are located steps from Lake Michigan and the beach entrance at Stop 2.
Free Wireless Internet throughout the cottage.
Our smoke-free cottage is clean and decorated with a real cottage/beach feel. On the first floor is a screened in porch area with wicker furniture on one side and a game table area and futon sofa on the other side, a living room (new furniture) with fireplace, kitchen, large dining room, two bedrooms (one with twin/twin bunkbeds, one with twin/full bunkbeds), and powder room. The second floor has three bedrooms (two with new queens, the other one has a full) and one full bath. Washer/dryer and one full bath are located in the basement. Living room, stairway, and all five bedrooms have new carpeting.
At the back of the cottage is a yard, patio, and deck. You'll find outdoor furniture, a fire pit, and a charcoal grill for your use. There is a bonus patio area in the front of the cottage with a picnic table that is great for people watching. Parking is not a problem. Plenty of room on the side drive for cars and street parking in front of the cottage. Our family has always enjoyed going to the beach cottage and we hope that yours will enjoy staying here too.
Spend some time on the beach - from sitting back and enjoying a good book to sailing, boating, and jet skiing. Walk to the coffee shop, Washington Park, zoo, museum, or marina.
Go shopping at The Prime Outlet Mall. Try your luck at the Blue Chip Casino. Golfing, tennis, and horseback riding is nearby. Hike at the Indiana Dunes.
Go fruit picking at one of the many orchards located nearby. Tour the local wineries or a micro-brewery. Enjoy a meal at one of the many great restaurants. Activities are limited to your imagination.

This spacious, vintage cottage with cool nooks and crannies, is perfect for family gatherings. Easy access to nearby shopping, park, and beach allows independent activities. The kids enjoyed evening s'mores at the firepit and plenty of driveway space to make chalk pictures. Lots of table seating and places to spread out. The cottage is charmingly decorated, using smart South Shore posters available in closeby downtown. Owners are friendly and responsive. We went back a second year, even without a dishwasher!!!, because of the comfort and charm.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
