The apartment of 34m² (~370 square feet) is located on the third and last floor in a small building with access code facing an open courtyard. The first metro station "Tolbiac" is approximately 50 m away. Place d’Italie metro station can be reached in few minutes.
The double exposure makes the apartment very clear and a pleasant place to live.
This 13th arrondissement is in itself very interesting. The two most important points of interest are: Gobelins street, where king Louis XIV set up in 1667 the Royal Crown pieces of furniture’s manufacture, still producing tapestries for the National Furniture, it was famous all around Europe in the 18th century, but the existing building dates from 1914 and Choisy Avenue, where starts the Asian district, the widest of Europe.
In a few metro stations distance are the Seine River, the Bastille Place, and the Quartier Latin with its Jardin des Plantes (Paris Botanical Garden), and Mouffetard open air market, as well as the new François Mitterand National Library.
On the boulevard du Port Royal is a nice open-air market and the Gobelins is at a short walking distance with its diverse sorts of restaurants, cafes, cinemas, and convenience shops. Worthwhile to mention a spacious shopping mall and one of the biggest cinema screen in Europe at Place d’Italie.
The public garden by "Parc de Choisy" is just opposite the street and provides a vast space of rest and relaxation.
The heart of Paris with the architectural sites (Louvre, Island Saint Louis, Notre Dame) can be easily reached by the direct metro of line seven starting from the station of the Tolbiac.
This apartment is covered with wooden floor or tiles. When you enter, you face the first room (~20m²) where there is an open kitchen fitted with all necessary amenities such as a washing machine, a fridge, cooking plates, a microwave, a coffee machine.
A dining table and a sofa bed are located in this space. Cable TV and card phone are available. A separate bathroom shelters a washbasin, a shower and a WC. There is a small sleeping room with a double bed in the second part.
