Silver Shells is Destin's number one resort and St. Maarten is the most desired building! This smoke-free condominium has a semi-private elevator that opens directly into the unit.
The unit has a beautiful Gulf Front view from the 10th floor.
It has just been fully redecorated with beautiful granite countertops, stainless appliances and there is dining for 10 and sleeping for 10!
There are two gulf front bedrooms which offer the best views of the beach during the day and the stars at night. Both of these bedrooms have king beds and private bathrooms.
The third bedroom sleeps 6 with 2 sets of bunks that include a queen on the bottom and a trundle.
This condo is perfect for two couples with lots of kids! All rooms are equipped with TV/VCR/DVD. The den has a 50" Plasma TV and the "Sports Package" is included in HDTV. The master bath is very large with a Jacuzzi and oversized shower. There is also a large walk-in closet where a baby can sleep peacefully for hours. There is a pack-and-play provided for your convenience as well as a high chair.
It is located on the tenth floor and offers breathtaking views of the white sand beach and ocean. It is one of the closest units to the beach. You'll love having your morning coffee on the oversized balcony.
There is a state-of-the art fitness center and wonderful spa on the property. Ruth's Chris Steakhouse is right there on the property and will even deliver. The food is great!
The beach has a bar and grill so you can order drinks and have lunch without leaving your chairs.
You are walking distance to The Back Porch and Grazie Italian Restaurant.
Minutes from great shopping at Destin Commons and Silver Sands Outlet Mall. Close to plenty of Golf courses and just blocks from "The Big Kahuna" waterpark.
There are daily activities for the kids. Two pools including a lagoon pool with waterfall and indoor/outdoor heated pool. There is also an extra large kiddie pool.
Tennis and Basketball courts are also available at no extra charge.

We just returned from a week in this beautiful unit. There were 10 in our group and this unit accomodated us comfortably with a bed for everyone. This unit is right on the beach with incredible views. The patio furniture is top notch and we brought two of the chairs inside for extra seating in the living area. The HDTV and surround sound in the living area are great, much better than anything I have at home. Furniture is nice and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked, which made feeding our large group much easier. Having three full bathrooms is a plus. Underground parking was great and access to the room directly by an elevator was very convenient. The pool area is large and seemed to handle a large number of people with a lot of lounge chairs available. The Back Porch restaurant (my favorite in Destin) is next door and Wal Mart is right across the street. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with young children, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This place is fabulous!! Not a typical rental unit at all. Very very home like. Furnishings are very upscale, warm colors, and the view is beyond words. We won't forget this vacation any time soon and will certainly go back!! John

It was fantastic! The pictures do not do it justice! It was the best, most relaxing vacation we have ever had! It is worth trying this place out at least once, we will be returning for sure and have told everyone we know!

We stayed in this unit for Spring Break 2007. Great unit! Very well appointed, super view, and the resort is the best in Destin. Would rent this unit again in a blink!
