Centrally located in Breckenridge, this home is 2600 Sq. ft. plus garage. It is furnished in classic elegance and comfort. This home features a custom kitchen with granite counter tops and all cooking pots and pans, and spices, you ever would want.
There are four bedrooms (with a top-of-the-line mattress) plus loft, three full bathrooms, 2600 square feet, large private indoor Coleman hot tub. The master bedroom with king size bed, has a jetted tub and his/her sinks, and stereo speakers. Four TVs, two VCRs, CD player, with many videos, heated garage, and great views. The living room has reclining chairs, surround sound, digital TV cable reception.
This place is great for family reunions with enough to do to keep everyone happy.
Forced air heating is in the main part of house with radiant heat on lower level floors. The lower level makes a great hangout for children with its own TV and VCR Instant heat gas fireplace with Kentucky mantel over century old. Open main floor plan with high ceilings gives spacious atmosphere. Custom cherrywood cabinets are found in the kitchen and bathrooms (made by Mennonite craftsman). The dining table expands to seat 12. No Smoking.

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
We have this rental here because our residence is in Breckenridge and we leave during the winter to be with young grandchildren in Franklin, TN. All grandparents can understand that. We love the beauty of Breckenridge and that it is a real town with real people. We have lived in Breckenridge since 1986 and in our home since 1994.
The Unique Benefits at this House
You will be staying in our home therefore it has upgrades on everything since it is not simply a rental. The most common comment we get from renters is that they can't believe that we rent our a home this nice. And we have been very fortunate for the people renting it appreciate the fact that it is special and they have taken care of it-- so it is a win/win.
And then there is the fact we are right in town so it is easy to go out to shop, eat and the gondola is only a six minute walk.
And for what is it worth -- you are staying in Moozie's home -- some kids love that fact.
And we work with a ski rental place on the way to the gondola which gives out guests special discounts-- and has given great service-- per feedback from renters.

Breckenridge has been our home since 1986, when I left the corporate life of Dallas, as a public speaker.
It was in 1994 that, after living in a condo for 8 year, my wife and I built duplex three blocks off of main street. I was the general contractor and hired a lot of Mennonite craftsman from Kansas.
We now spend our winters in Franklin, TN -- outside of Nashville -- with the three young grandsons and family. So, while we are gone in the winter we rent out home out to you skiers
We have been married for 51 years--November 22, 2011-- have two sons. One in Franklin TN with wife and three kids and other in Coppell, TX with wife and two older grandkids. My wife is a painter, organist pianist, quilter
We spent three years in central Africa-- Malaw.
In 1987-- after moving to Breckenridge in 1986, I wrote a book -- Take Your LIfe Off Hold -- which was about people leaving the corporate rat race and going for their dreams. Had over 300 radio/TV/newspaper interviews on the book.
Now my days are spent working with Moozie the cow who is the ambassador of kindness for the Children's Kindness Network, (CKN) a nonprofit organization that we started back in 1998 -after discovering that a robotic talking cow I built-- as a garage project--was loved by children and they listened when Moozie talked about kindness. CKN's mission is Building a Culture of Kindness-- Beginning with pre-K. You can learn about Moozie and the Children's Kindness Network by going to the combined webb sites.

Thanks for the use of your beautiful home with ic s step back in time! The Victorian theme as a relaxing environment, especially for those of us from TX where is rarely seen in the TX panhandle. Time off is a rarity for our family and we treasure our time together which could not have been nicer due to your hospitality. Our heart felt thanks to you both!.

We throughly enjoyed our visit and your home is beautiful! Thank you for getting a pack n play for our twins. We will be back for sure! The basket you left for us was so sweet. We have stayed in Breckenridge for four years and this is our favorite house yet!.

What a great family time we had at your home. Your place is very comfortable, easy access into town, and great views. My parents enjoyed being able to look at the slopes from the living room/dining room windows. They did not ski every day. The children enjoyed playing in the snow, sliding down the small hill in the plastic discs, in the large yard outside your house. It was also nice that the kids had their own area to play and make noise in the lower level, thus not disturbing the adults on the main level who were ready to relax after a hard day of skiing. We were very impressed with the quality of this rental. Could see that it was more than just a house, it is a home. You can expect us back.
