The condo was excellent, and Big Horn is a great location. The furnishings are well appointed, with nice decorations. A car is not nessacary, but could be needed with small children for the short walk to the base area/mountain mall. The owner is organized and timely in regard to payments and deposits. We have been to Big Sky many times in summer and winter, and I would recommend using this condo again.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, families with young children, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

This is a great property with easy access to the mountain and a quick walk to the mountain base. They have the unit setup very nice for renters. The kitchen is completely labeled so things are easy to find. My wife who loves cooking said it is the best equipped kitchen we've ever rented. The games and electronics available for kids was also a bonus. The heated garage is awesome, especially when the snow comes which is often. When going back to Big Sky we will definitely be looking to rent this unit first.

Good time had by all! Skiing was awesome! Nice condo! Looking for a fun evening out? Try a pub crawl…We took the free skyline bus to the furthest point, The Corral Bar & Grill (check your watch—the bus will return in one hour). Then we rode it up to Buck T4 (watch your watch). Good appetizers. We then went up to Loan Peak Brewery for dinner (watch your watch). Then rode bus back to condo.

We enjoyed the stay. The condo was in excellent condition & had everything we needed. I would modify the instructions on garbage. We put the garbage out Sunday night as suggested & a Bear got into it. So I would suggest not taking garbage out in bear season until 7 am. The garbage was picked up at 2 pm on Monday.

Dear Ethan, Thanks, we had a lovely time. Your condo is very nice. We loved the computer. I wrote what activities we did in your guest book and put on the dishwasher (water miser cycle) just before we left. However, you could give better directions. Relying only on Mapquest is a last resort. Say that the condo is by a lake, and describe the big sign on the right then give us the color of the condo roof. Road names are hard to make out unless you drive slowly. Landmarks are always a help. Anyway, I appreciate your taking our panicy phone call and helping us get there. The kitchen was very well equipped, except the garlic press was plastic. Plastic ones don't work! Having said that, I did not expect ANY garlic press at all. Also, the condos we've stayed in before have supplied coffee, so we had no coffee the first morning. I'd advise guests to buy ALL THEIR GROCERIES before arriving at the resort. We went to Smiths. The shops around Big Sky are very expensive - prices are more than double. But the overall condo experience was grand. You had fun decor, games, magazines, brochures, a local phone, notebooks and pens, toiletries, and lots of plastic wrap for sandwiches. If your condo was an essay, I'd give it an A. Just a few tweaks would make it an A+. All the best, Avril

Thanks for sharing your lovely condo – has everything we wanted. The scenery is wonderful. Even though we were not expecting it (since it was June) we did wake up to 3 inches of snow which just added to the beauty. We came out for the son/grandson wedding reception but had time to enjoy the area – saw much of the wild life and took great pictures to add to the memories. Thanks again for sharing and hoping to make a return trip.

This was our second time staying in this unit and each time it just gets better. Our son lives in Big Sky and was recently married, so our extended family met here to celebrate and with them. Ethan referred another unit to us for additional family members and they enjoyed their stay as well. This unit is so well equipped, we didn't need to bring anything but the food! Would love to come sometime in the winter to enjoy the skiing!

Our accommodations in Big Sky were both comfortable and convenient. Snowmobiling in Yellowstone, downhill and cross country skiing were all easily accessible. We cooked-in most nights and were pleased with the well equipped kitchen. The assistance prior to our stay was prompt and informative. Overall this rental was a good experience and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Big Sky. March 2010.

I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. We were thrilled to have such a fully equipped kitchen. The computer was an added plus. We were very pleased with this condo. This was my first trip to Big Sky and I'll be back. This condo was comfortable and convenient. We rarely used our car, but it was nice to store it in a garage. This condo was very clean and the location is great. The unit has a wood burning fireplace - which we used daily - and it kept the downstairs quite comfortable. The master bedroom is quite large with a sitting area included. A big plus was having use of the internet while we were there. Just a very short walk to the poma lift to get to the slopes and we skied right back to the road in front of the condo at the end of the day

Here's what we think. This is a wonderfully planned unit. It is amazing how well organized the place is. It has everything - we liked it so much we ate in every night. We loved the mountain, too, both side and Lone Mountain Ranch as well. We split our time between Moonlight and Big Sky, with my 18km cross country ski day at Lone Mountain Ranch. And, some of us went snow shoeing one day at Yellowstone. Rent your equipment at Lone Mountain Ranch. We had a lot of good days, a lot of hard skiing. The Headwaters chuttes are really good. The runs from the Tram are great, but pick a good weather day to go up there. Tree skiing at Moonlight is really good. Fast groomers, good bumps. Overall, this winter will say Big Sky ranks as one as the very best, and I've skiied a lot of big mountains. And, the condo, too is one of the best. Thanks. Wow, what a wonderful home & ski resort. The light fluffy snow is so great to ski and snowboard in, so much easier to ride than the snow on Mt. Hood. Although I've never found any snow I didn't like. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We hope to come back here again.

What's up owners? Thanks for letting us use your condo. It's a pretty cool place. I'm having a great time here. We have snowboarded for the last two days and are going to Yellowstone tomorrow and then two more days of snowboarding. I'm here with my best friend and his parents. We are all from Oregon and usually go to Mt. Hood Meadows, but Big Sky is way better than Meadows. My friend and I are 15 and I'm sure we will remember this for the rest of our lives.
