We couldn't ask for a better location and accomodations. Our studio was conveniently located within walking distance to shops, restaurants, the bakery, Playa guiones(beach). The mini mart is right in front. Very safe area. The staff at Nosara Paradise Rentals were very friendly & helpful. No communication barrier. We definitely will stay there again.

Our stay was great, a private, perfectly located and appointed getaway. I've referred friends and family who agree that this is not only a great bargain, but a great place to stay. Located behind Cafe de Paris, with all the ammenities, excellent food, gourmet French pastry bakery, combined with the convenience of your own private home away from home, within walking distance of Playa Guionnes, a superb beach and surf break. No better place to stay on the Guanacaste Peninsula.

I feel compelled to add a few more comments...my wife felt she was getting close to maximum letters to comment with! If you need a taxi from Liberia you need to ask for Freddie from La Cosana Restaurant. Maybe Craig (owner of Casa Tranquilla)can hook you up as we don't have his number. He actually owns and cooks at this restaurant which is about 10 minutes heading to the Town of Nosara. He's a hard worker and a fast driver in his 10 seat Toyota van! The restaurant is open, with interesting stone statues and murals. We also tried and enjoyed Miss Sky canopy tour, zipping thru the forest. Cafe de Paris is a 3 minute walk for any meal or drink, internet and a remarkable trendy bakery. BRING A CALCULATOR WITH YOU! Watch the money exchange...if you have american $ and bill is in colones figure it ahead of time, someone tried to charge me $10 for 2 Coronas! And some places include a tip right into the bill...only 10% but we were way overtipping until we noticed that in small print. Pura Vida to all new visitors to CR! Lance

My husband & I, a couple of our friends & their 2 teenagers just spent 8 days in Nosara in Casa Tranquillo. While we had 2 kitchens we ate out every meal.I might suggest that if you rent one or both of these, & plan to cook your meals here & are coming from Liberian airport, stop in the town of Nicoya at the grocery store. Food was too expensive to buy for a week at the mini market (owned by the same swiss conglomerate that owns Cafe de Paris in town)Ok to get beer and munchies but pricey. WE LOVED THE NEW POOL! At least 2 other cabinas next to us were entitled to use it but we faced it and it was pretty well used by us. Very nice Teak furniture all around. Although smallish ?(18' x 5') it served it's purpose...after a.m. surf to cool down after p.m. surf to cool down. The palm leaf covered table area(called a palapa in Mexico) was a great place to play games and write the trip diary or to lay in the 2 hammocks! Good fun and relaxation all around. Katy and Lance Werner

What a spectacular property!! Beautiful landscaping and awesome staff in Javier. Monkeys every dawn and dusk..close to beach and local amenities..great naps in the hammocks at the ranchito..good blenders..would like a grill and/or larger stovetop but local restaurants are good as well. 750 lb black marlin with Mike Eisenhour and Carlos at Playa Garza...trip of a lifetime!!!! Craig rocks!!!
