This is an impeccable European-mountain style home that appeals to traveling families who want to experience true Colorado living. Surrounded by 4.5 acres of towering pines, it is a private oasis with a beautiful front garden and fountain and a large driveway with a center island of flowers.
This is a three-story, 5700 sq ft home with 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. The details and craftsmanship throughout the home are not only unique to a vacation rental property, but positively stunning. The home is very comfortable with an open kitchen and family room, a beautiful dining room, a grand entry, a spa-like master suite, large bedrooms with walk-in closets, a spacious basement with plenty of play space and three decks.
This home is located on the northern side of Colorado springs in a beautiful area of rolling hills, lodge pole pine forests and horse pastures. Most of the homes in this area are custom built, exclusive properties that reside on multiple acres. It is a highly desirable area, sought after for its privacy, beauty, and rural feel- yet convenient location.
The neighborhood is a gated-community with million dollar properties on a minimum of 3 acres. There are wide streets, walking trails, a small fishing pond and a playground with open space.
Because of the home's northern location, it is just a short 75 minute drive from the Denver international airport via interstate 25 or the beautiful rural route down hwy 83. The home is 40 minutes from the Colorado springs airport.

About the owner: We are a family of five and have another home on 40 acres of Rocky Mountain land and within minutes of world class fly fishing. As alluring as that property is, we still love this home and its beautiful pines, privacy and convenient Colorado Springs location. We spend time at both properties.
We spent four years (prior to children) remodeling and upgrading this home and adding an amazing amount of custom detail. It was built in 2002 and was a parade home in the Colorado Springs Parade of Homes. It has dramatically changed since then- we love beautiful carpentry, comfortable spaces and understated elegance.
We know you will enjoy it, too. It also makes a beautiful backdrop for family photos... Have a wonderful stay.
