The exclusive community, Spinnaker Point, is on a peninsula with 112G being one of the southernmost condos facing southeast to west. Morning sun, the southeast trade winds and sunsets across the 3 mile Indian River combine for a delightful, pleasant and beautiful setting. The 40 foot dock is on an outside location for easy access. There are two tie off pilings which will keep topsides of your yacht unblemished. A one car garage and adjacent surface parking makes for easy access. Next to the main entrance is a secure ventilation door which provides an outlet for the Southeast trade winds and an inlet for the seasonal north breezes. This provides a great alternative for those who do not like constant air conditioning. The first room on left is a study and den which has a pull out couch providing a double bed, also a TV , bookcase and desk and leather lounge chair. Across the entry hall is the 3rd bath with tub and shower, two ample closets and the guest room with twin beds. The kitchen is next, down the entry hall with an open counter facing the living area. A washer and drier, stainless refrigerator, ice maker, freezer, electric range, micro wave oven, toaster, coffee maker and mixers complement the granite counters and cove lighting. Cooking and dining equipment, crystal flower vases, 8 and 10 ounce crystal wine glasses, provide a gracious backdrop for living and entertaining. The living and dining area face a porch with the main view of the bay. Comfortable chairs and a couch face the view with a TV in the corner. Cabinets and a bar are on the north side of the living area. Opposite is a glass dining table with 6 matching chairs. Sliding glass doors lead to the screened porch. There is a motorized storm drop down shutter. The porch is furnished with lounge chair, and round glass dining table and chairs with reading lights. A door off the dining room leads to the master bedroom on the southwest corner. Twin beds, couch, chairs and two bureaus are in this comfortable room. A twin closet separates 2 baths, one with shower, the other with tub. A scenic walk around the peninsular is accessed from the front screened porch. The 40 foot dock is a few yards to the east. A heated pool, jacuzzi and changing rooms are near the front door to the north of this 59 unit condo neighborhood. This is the location for monthly outdoor cocktail parties to which owners and renters are invited. Neighbors are gracious and friendly and ready to help with the community.
A membership is available at the Moorings Yacht and Country Club. About the owner: We have retired and will need a smaller home, on one floor, affording wheel chair access if necessary. Currently we live in a gated community 5 miles north and are available to get any electrical or plumbing repairs accomplished as well as hands on help for minor problems. On site there is a most experienced maintenance chap who is extremely helpful
Why the Owner Chose Moorings: We came to Vero Beach 20 years ago and lived in the Moorings in a larger home. We downsized, wanted to get on one floor and bought a home 5 miles north and this condominium at Spinnaker Point. We look forward to moving permanently into 112G.
