I have been meaning to write this review for quite some time. My family (myself, husband, 2 children, and mother) stayed for our second time in this beautiful apartment in August 2011. Friends of ours in NY had also stayed here and recommended it to us. After staying at top hotels in major cities, we have concluded this apartment rivals the best of them - hence our second trip in two summers. Everything during both of our stays went perfectly. The apartment was immaculate, the beds luxurious, all appliances/air conditioning working, etc. The apartment itself is very old-world Paris - high ceilings, gorgeous mouldings, marble fireplace. The location couldn't be better. It is right next to Musee D'Orsay, across the Seine from the Tuileries, a short walk to the Louvre, and close to the fabulous Saint Germain des Pres area. Our family even walked home from Notre Dame one day. Perfect location for children, with the gardens across the river where there is also a carousel, trampoline, playground and cafe for those days where you need a rest but still want to enjoy the beauty of Paris. Also located a few short blocks away on Rue du Bac is a MonoPrix food store with everything you need as well as an Erik Kaiser bakery. L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon is within walking distance as well and is a very special place for dinner one night. You are in the middle of it all. We had absolutely no problems dealing with the owner from start to finish and Thierry who works at the building was always very helpful/friendly and had our keys ready upon arrival. We have since recommended the apartment to other friends and their experience has been similar. We cannot say enough nice things about this apartment and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Paris. The pictures really don't do it justice. We are looking forward to staying again when we are next in Paris.

My family of 5 (ages 57, 49, 23, 21 & 18) recently spent a week in this lovely apartment. The pictures and description are spot on. The apartment was spotless and very comfortable while also being very elegant. The location - a block from the metro at Musee d'Orsay- was ideal. We walked to dinner on Rue St. Germaine almost very night and got breakfast from Gosselin (a wonderful bakery a few blocks away)! This is an ideal apartment for a large family or friends taking a vacation together...lots of room to spread out. If we ever make it back to Paris, we will stay in this wonderful apartment.

Firstly, the information on the website about this property is all-encompassing - the description and photographs are accurate and do not exaggerate one bit. All the rules and regulations about booking, deposits, forms to be filled in, etc are easy to understand, comprehensive and easy to complete. The apartment, as beautiful as it reads, is easily as luxurious and comfortable as it is made out to be, and has a French/Parisien feel about it as soon as you enter - it is 'the real thing'. And best of all, and perhaps the most important, the position of the apartment is quite phenomenal: nearly next door to the Musee d'Orsay, just accross the road from the pedestrian bridge, the Pont de Sanglot (?), actually leading directly to the Tuilleries and the Louvre. And 200 yds (?) in the opposite direction is the Pont de la Concorde leading directly to the Place de la Concorde and the Champs Elysees - magnificent and perfect. Also, walking past the Musee d'Orsay, the Rue de Bac leads to other places of interest including St Catherine Laboure's (?) beautiful chapel where she saw Our Lady and was shown the design of the Miraculous Medal; and also, further down the Rue de Bac is Bon Marche, which, in my opinion, leaves Galleries Lafayettes and Au Printemps, in the cold !!! But that's only my opinion! To cut a long story short (!), the position of this apartment makes Paris 'walkable'! Amazing! I have been to Paris so many times (only for week-ends of rugby matches!) and for the first time, after my stay in this wonderful apartment, I feel I know Paris in the same way as I know Rome. One of us (rather elderly girls !) had never been to Paris before, and she was mesmorised !!! I mean it - and she's been around !!! We cannot wait to return and stay in this beautifully appointed apartment. Because Paris was a 'first' for one of us, we booked on the Bateau Parisien, the 'Etoile' (which cost a bit more than the basic Bateau Parisien advertised). Having done this 3 or even 4 times before but never in the 'upmarket' Bateau, it was super. A beautiful boat, not too crowded, and the best food we had in the 4 days we were in Paris. Well worth a try if you want to be on the Seine by night. Given the choice, I would never dream of staying anywhere else in Paris - a real 'FIND'.

Our family of five was very comfortable in this lovely apartment. It is spacious and elegant, and could not be in a more ideal location. We were able to walk everywhere, and had a metro a block away that could take us directly to Versailles. The owner is lovely.

This apartment is all the owners' descriptions say, and all the photos tell you--and more. The four of house (parents, plus daughter and fiance) had a wonderful time. It's a terrific apartment and we have now learned how much better it is to rent "a place of your own" rather than staying in an hotel! It truly is like being at home--convenient, flexible, relaxing, efficient. It's a comfortable apartment well stocked with appliances The location is outstanding in a quiet area with a residential atmosphere mixed with a ready supply of food stores, restaurants, and cafes close by. Across the river from the Louvre and Tuileries, immediately adjacent to the Musée D'Orsay, in easy walking distance to the Latin Quarter, Ile de la Cite, Ile Saint Louis, and close to Metro, Bus, and RER stops. Do not hesitate; sign up and have the perfect vacation!

Thank You Ciaran and Thierry for a special 10 months in Paris. We all loved every minute of Paris and your apartment truly became our home away from home. The memories and good times will be in our hearts forever and when I look at the pictures of the apartment I long to be there. The location! When friends asked about our stay in Paris we all respond firstly that the location was superb. To be right next to the Musee D'Orsay and right on the river was magnificent. Our lives revolved around the Seine and the Tuileries. Thierry and Lenny were always willing to help with anything we needed and they became our friends and made us feel welcome. The Rooney's were available anytime and very easy to work with from the beginning. We were 5 people living comfortably in the apartment and had guests stopping by with plenty of room for them. It could not have been any better. Thank you again and we look forward to returning to our "home in Paris" many times in the future.

We enjoyed a wonderful family stay in Paris August 2-9, 2008. The apartment offered incredible walking and Metro access to every key site in Paris, as well as a scenic location to live in Paris. We could walk to the Tuileries, Louvre, Musee D'Orsay, Invalides and great shopping and restaurants. The Batobus riverboat, RER and Metro lines were all within 200 meters. Every feature of the apartment as described on the web was met or exceeded during our stay. The amount of space was perfect for a family group, and we used the kitchen, washer/dryer, air conditioning and internet access extensively during our stay. The Rooney's also made the rental process very comfortable and easy, and were very responsive to every question. Overall, a great experience, I would absolutely recommend the apartment to family and friends.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your Paris apartment in July 2008. Everything; from one of the most modern and well stocked aptartment kitchens we've seen to the grand location, just across the bridge from the Louvre. Our party of 2 grandparents and a 2 1/2 year old were very well cared for. Frequent visits to la boucherie & patisserie 5 min from the apartment were a definite plus; the roast chicken is a must.. The pedestrian bridge across the street was perfect for our son, who loved waving to all of the boats going by. Evening picnics on the bridge were a pleasure too. We would highly recommend this apartment for it's location, well stocked appliances/cookware, air conditioning and overall spaciousness!

For the month of June, 2008, my family of 4 teen-agers, my wife and I stayed in the apartment - wow - what a super experience. The space & layout, the kitchen, internet, and overall accommodations were absolutely top-rate. Similarly, the central location made catching a water taxi, bux, subway or train a snap...and the ability to interact with the owner PLUS having on-site support made the entire experience outstanding. Particularly for folks needing space enough for several people - something that can be tough to find in the heart of Paris - I recommend this apartment highly, and assure you that the owner was fair and easy-going before, during and after our stay.

We stayed in the apartment with two adults and 3 teenagers (ages 15, 15 and 13) during Spring Break (15 – 23 March 2008) and had a great time. We were most pleasantly surprised when we arrived and discovered how spacious and lovely the apartment was. Thierry was very helpful in helping us get our luggage up to the apartment. As noted in other reviews, the apartment is in a great location, virtually next door to the Musee de Orsay and close to Metro and RER stations. A wonderful bakery and a small store are within a few minutes walk and provided us the ability to enjoy fresh croissants and fruit every morning before we left to explore Paris. Street noise was not an issue as the apartment is in the back of the building. Also, I should note that our deposit was promptly returned following our stay. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience and will look to stay here again when we return to Paris.

Our family - my parents, brother, husband and small baby - just came back from a wonderful Christmas and New Years in Paris. What helped make the time together so special was this apartment - it is modern, comfortable, bright and furnished with everything you need. While the city of lights is quite beautiful, this apartment allowed us to also spend quality time at home cooking dinners and bonding. The owners thoughtfully decorated the apt with a tree and had a crib ready for our baby. We are thrilled that we found such a great place to stay in Paris and hope to go back soon!

I meant to send this note sooner to you but the summer just got away from me…I wanted to let you know that we had an exceptional time at your beautiful apartment in Paris from Aug 4 – 11. My wife, 2 daughters, and mom enjoyed the beautiful front room, TV room, modern kitchen and comfy beds as well as of course Paris itself. Furthermore, Thierry and his wife were very helpful with taxis and being available to us for questions, store locations, etc…Again, many thanks for renting us your apartment and all the best from the Healey’s!John, Carolyn, Maureen, Jules, & Helen

Have just come back from a wonderful trip to paris the apartment was superb! Location could not have been better, because of the courtyard it was very peaceful and had every facility you could ask for, so close to all the sights ... 5min walk to louve, 10min walk Notre Dame, 10min walk Arc de triomphe. Bus stop and river boat stop both just outside the apartment and the RER and Metro station within minutes, meant that anything was available. We took our elderly parents with us who were instantly at home in this amazing apartment.

Our family just had a wonderful stay in the Paris apartment! The apartment was lovely. We liked the quiet of being on a courtyard for sleeping, yet when you walk out the door you're on the Seine. We enjoyed several great dinners in the apartment, enjoying our Paris lifestyle. We had 6 family members - two adults and 4 young adults. One daughter did all of her own special diet cooking and it couldn't have worked out any easier for her - the remodeled kitchen was great. The location was great for getting on the Metro/RER, and walking to the Musee D'Orsay and the Louvre. We enjoyed great walks, espcially up to St. Germains de Pres area. The apartment was a great part of our family trip.

Truly stunning apartment - classic Paris but with a modern, family friendly and very homely feel. Plenty of room, beautifully decked out, all mod cons and a gourmet kitchen. It made our family holiday with 4 adults, 2 kids (ages 9 & 7) and a baby very special (and great value when you work out what 2 or 3 hotel rooms for the week would have cost.) Paris is all about location and this apartment is unbeatable. Next to Musee D'Orsay, 5 mins walk to the Louvre and seconds to the metro and buses (+ the train to Versaille is 100 yards from the front gate!) The Seine is across the road and we walked to almost every major attraction the city has to offer. Most important of all, the owners (whom we've never met) are great to deal with. Go for it...you won't regret it this decision.

We had a really lovely time in this charming apartment. We felt that we lived in Paris and just settled in so well. We went as a family and it was so well set up for us. It was a great location. We look forward to coming back many times.
