  Wonderful condo on the bluffs. Dolphins in the morning and beautiful sunsets every night. Had a great time in this adorable town. Lots of great finds on Cedro Ave. Thanks for sharing this little slice of Paradise. :)

  My two children(4 and 6) along with my husband rented this awesome place in Solana beach for our first vacation to the San Diego area! We loved how close we were to the ocean and some great restaurants! Plus it was a quick and easy drive to all the attractions (sea world, safari park, USS midway, and Legoland!) it was nice being in a cozy, friendly community instead of a big city and hotel! Nancy was very accommodating and had everything we needed! I would recommend this place to anyone and already have to some of my friends!!!

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  This property is a wonderful romantic get away place! You couldn't ask for better views of the ocean from both the family living area and the master bedroom! There is an easy access to the beach and a lovely pool over looking the ocean. It's a great place for a couple or for a family.The condo is so nicely decorated and has all the modern conveniences. I highly recommend this great place with all the wonderful attractions of Southern California so close at hand!

  A delightful month in a condominium with a marvelous location high on a bluff overlooking the ocean, walking (and stair-climbing) distance from beaches. The condominium, being the owner's home, was very well equipped and had a vigorous personality. As an academic I liked the study, with wi-fi and printer, perched over the ocean view. The main bedroom is also very well sited, and the second bedroom worked well for visiting granddaughters. The community has a swimming pool and hot-tub, that we and our visitors enjoyed, and we played on the tennis court. Solana Beach does not have a lot of higher end restaurants but it is next to Del Mar that has plenty. La Jolla is just a couple of miles further away and is rich in attractions such as the Scripps Aquarium. We also went into San Diego for Balboa Park and the Zoo as well as the baseball stadium. The owner came by a couple of times and answered some questions and concerns although our minor problems with the leaking dishwasher and the radio were only partially resolved. The property was substantially renovated quite recently and the landscape is well-maintained. We would certainly recommend this property to friends and would be interested in returning ourselves.

  The setting is wonderful, and the owner is very nice and accommodating. The unit is quite quirky but well represented by photos and descriptions. The thing that made us squirm was the lack of cleanliness. We pretty much had to wash every dish and glass prior to using it, and we are not neat freaks. Also, the owner lives there when she's not renting it out, and we knew that from another review, but for us it was a little uncomfortable vacationing in someone's condo with all her clothes, food, toiletries etc. around. I feel a little guilty writing this as she was really pleasant to deal with, and she got our deposit back immediately, but I'm just trying to be truthful here.

  Owner response: I appreciate Cheri being concerned enough to write a review and I have spoken to my cleaning gal about this issue. My condo is thoroughly cleaned before and after each rental. Since it is my primary residence, I take care to leave each guest half of the clothes closet, 4 large dresser drawers and 2 good sized empty drawers for toiletries in the master bath. My personal items are placed in the lowest possible shelf and drawers. There are one or two empty shelves in the freezer and the refrigerator is completley empty except for the condiments that must be kept cold. Sorry that my items disturbed her, but the plus is that each renter is welcome to use all spices, cooking oils, condiments and other extras found in any normal occupied residence . Nancy Chappie

  My experience here was terrific. The unit is right on the beach, on top of the waves. Can't imagine a better location for convenient access to all San Diego attractions and superb restaurants. This condo is immaculate. Can't wait to return.

  I was in town for a week in June on business and had an opportunity to again stay at this great property. This time we had another couple with us; previously we enjoyed it with our Grandsons. The layout of the unit and development's facilities...was "perfect" for either a couples stay, or a family vacation. We can't wait to rent again!

  Being this close to the ocean, sitting outside and seeing the dolpins, drinking a nice glass of wine and even seeing the famous "green flash" added to our wonderful experience in this property. I have lived near the ocean and know that this moist environment causes rusting so the small amount that we experienced was nothing I had not seen before. The condo is colorful and comfortable and in such a great location we could walk everywhere - even to see the famous Del Mar Race track.

  She lives in this condo left us no room for our things anywhere in entire home! Kitchen was full of expired old food, silverfish in our cookware and all over. BBQ was old and rusty 2 empty propane tanks. Filthy! Everything in home cracked and Broken leaking fridge, dishwasher. spare bath shower backed up with filth/hair on us we cleaned everything and she still kept our deposit! Ripped off! Not a nice lady! Would not even tell us anything about how to use anything in her place or that she was leaving day we checked in for an airplane flight and that she needed us there at a certain time! Shame on you! No communication from her ever! Neighbors told us home is in foreclosure.

  Owner response: I have had hapy renters for the past 6 years and never had a negative review. Living on the ocean is not perfect and there is rust and there is sometimes bugs, however smelling the salt air, listening to he waves, laughin as the dolpins jump out of the water as if to amuse you, makes up for any short comings. That is malicious gossip that my condo is in foreclosure. Totally untrue! I believe that if this complaining guest had kept his word and arrived on time, all of his complaining could have been resolved. We would have met in person and I would have been able to explain how to use the barbecue, with its full gas tanks. I am sorry he was not happy. Nancy, 0wner
