Our sunny and inviting condo are located in sunny South Kihei, right on the border of Wailea in the luxury Maui Kamaole Condo complex, rated 4 STARS year after year.
We love to relax on our private lanai, which extends out into a beautiful
tropical landscape of green grass, gentle swaying palm trees and colorful and aromatic flowers,
giving you a feeling of being in paradise.
This condo is our favorite ‘home away from home’ and we share with you everything we appreciate at our vacation.
Besides a fully equipped kitchen we include some of our favorite books, CDs, Maui maps and tour guides, snorkel tips and activity guidebooks.
Also beach chairs, ice chest, sun umbrella, boogie boards and some snorkel gear.
We provide you with lots of extra towels and also warm blankets for visiting Haleakala
Our master bedroom has an upgraded supercomfy double pillow top CAL. KING Size mattress.
Double pillow top, designed for comfort but support at the same time, which is
a must for my ‘achy’ little back. Without a good restful sleep my vacation mood
will drop into the ‘nagging zone’. (My husband’s words, not mine ?)
Off the bedroom is a small secluded lanai for some outside seating enjoyment, while listening to a tropical bird concert. Great also for drying off your beach gear etc.
Our spacious living area offers an upgraded sleeper sofa and a full second bathroom making the unit ideal for up to four guests. We provide you with a high quality memory foam pad that can be used on our queen sleeper bed for extra comfort. Even though the bed is an upgraded sleeper, we are strong believers that a bed can either make or break a vacation. So we are not saving in this area!
The washer/dryer in the unit is convenient and loved by everyone.
You are a short walk to our large Pools, Jacuzzis, waterfalls and tennis courts,
all in luxury lush tropical setting.
A convenient distance and just far enough so noise from other guests will never bother you
when you are at the condo trying to relax! Or take a 'power brake, as my hubbie likes to call it)
We also have BBQ areas a few steps outside the condo.
They are conveniently located behind the building, so therefore smell and noise will never be a bother either.
It’s these little details that add up to make us appreciate the convenient location of our condo so much more! It is important to us and I know our guest enjoy it as well.
You can stroll along the white sandy beach of KAMAOLE BEACH 3, which is only a few comfortable steps away. No long or steep hills to climb, ever from our location!
There are also many great snorkel spots for beginners, and you can start in about 4 feet of water and see colorful fishes.
For the advanced swimmer, there is no end for you to explore the many caves and rock-formation right out there. (Detailed info in the unit.)
You can walk conveniently to many great nearby shops and restaurants or you can explore and splurge through the world famous Shops, hotel bars and restaurants at WAILEA.

Why the Owner Chose Maui Kamaole
Soon we realized that the beaches along Kamaole are a great fit for our whole family. Our daughter loves to surf, so she goes a few block north and hangs ‘loose’ with locals and tourist alike. Sigi and his cousins love to boogie board, which is great to do at the north side of the beach near the condo in the afternoon.
I love the soft sand in and outside the water with no sharp corrals to worry about, so I can walk freely
along the beach o in the water if I like some extra resistant during my morning workout.
I can walk for hours all the way to Wailea and Makena and enjoy cooling ocean breeze and aromatic landscape and flowers along the way.
So we took the risk and invested in this beautiful condo right across from our favorite beaches.
Our dream is to one day (soon) to live there at least during the winter month and enjoy sunshine and warm temperatures, in the 8o's day in and day out.

The Unique Benefits at this Condo
This condo is so uniquely located and we waited for a long time to have one come available in the front like that. We paid top price (which Sigi is still going to therapy for, just kidding) and there is only a few that have the privacy and views like ours. And even though we are front row, you will never be bothered by street noise or any other foot traffic from guests coming and going to the beach, poosl and spas. The nights are incredible tranquil and quiet and we love to pull out chairs into the grass to gaze at the stars glistening for attention.
We have yet to have a guest who didn’t love it here so we know it was well worth the waiting and price.(Well Sigi ‘the accountant’ might disagree with the later!)
Oh well there has to be a Ying and a Yang in every relationship ?
But everytime we stay here we agree this is paradise x 2, since you have the tropical climate with all the luxury from speaking the same language and knowing what food you are eating. It’s safe to drink the water and and walk outside and talk to strangers. Life is Good!

We are originally from Austria but call San Diego our ‘home base’ for almost 30 years now.

But with age we are craving warmer climate and gentler oceans and we fell in love with Maui about 12 years ago! We explored and investigate the island from every angle and discovered that the South Side, (South Kihei area) is ‘just what the doctor ordered.’ We can still find some secluded un-crowded beaches, with crystal clear water that allow us to snorkel all year long without getting cold in the water when following a turtle to its hiding place. But at the same time you can find all the comfort of a big city, from organic food stores , great local restaurant to anything you will ever need it’s all just within a few miles.
The water is calm and you can see the ground, which is SUPER important for me ?! (I need to know what I am stepping into) There are also no dangerous waves or undercurrent which allows me to enjoy the warm water without worrying for getting dragged out or thrown under. Yes I am proud to say that we have tried ALL the beaches. I have been cut up by corrals, thrown and swirled around by a surprising wave or dragged out by a current. It took me several weeks to make peace with Maui again, but we learned that the beaches near the condo are positively 100% the best and worry free for the whole family. To Sigi’s delight he can leave me there alone and enjoy his AM or PM nap while I frolic in the water. He doesn’t miss the harsh awakening of my screams when I had to be rescued or his unsuccessful searches for my lost snorkeling mask or watch that got ripped off in my surprise ‘attack’ from behind. I know I sound like an inexperience little lost soul, but I am an early retired PE teacher and consider myself in the ‘prime shape’ of my life, but some beaches are just not as nice in as shown on the pictures and I have the scars to prove it. (and many stories from others.)

Thank you so much for the week in your condo. It was so relaxing and beautiful there. We loved being able to sit on the lanai and have your morning coffee and watch the boats take off for the day or watch the sun set at night. My daughter loved just laying on the lounge chairs and looking at the stars at night. The condo was so nice and meet all of our needs and more. It was so helpful and we really enjoyed having boggie boards, chairs and ice chest right there to use when ever you wanted to go to the beach. Thank you for all your help and information before we left it made it easier once we got there to know were everything was. We do hope that we can go back again.

My best friend from childhood and I stayed at Dorli's condo for 7 days in May 2011. Dorli is great to work with and her home is just beautiful. The view and lanai are spectacular. I had the bedroom with the king bed - it was very, very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is everything you need to enjoy the beach from chairs, umbrella and beach toys for the young ones. I found a great health food store close by as I eat primarily organic. Maui Kamaole is right across the street from a great beach and is a very quiet condo complex with extraordinary foliage and two fantastic swimming pools. The activities and check in staff were great. This part of south Kihei is close to great shopping, beautiful beaches and the resorts of Wailea. I ate at Five Palms 4 times - they have a great happy hour and the ocean view is something you have to see for yourself. Dorli's condo is an incredible value for what you get. I look forward to coming back in the near future.

The condo was very clean and had everything it advertised that it had. It was in a good location and not far from the stores. I loved the view of being able to see the ocean all the time. I would stay there again if I came to Maui and also recommend it to a friend.

Thanks for the great place Dorli. Very quiet and private even though it's the first building in the complex. The view from the lanai is fantastic! The location worked out well for us....just a 15 minute drive to Big Beach! Walking distance to Five Palms for their happy hour drinks and appetizers. Also, just a short drive to some other great restaurants (Three's, Lulu's, Pupu Lounge, Kihei Cafe and others) as well as Foodland for shopping. Wonderful king bed, and the shower in the master was very nice! It was also very nice to have a second bathroom. Personally, we were not a fan of all the mirrored walls, but that's just us. We didn't spend our days sitting around the condo, so it really didn't matter. It was so nice to have beach towels and just about everything else one would need for the beach at our disposal! It was also very nice to have WiFi available for our phones and iPad. The keyless entry was heaven...no extra keys to possibly lose at the beach!! Dorli you were a great help when it came to renting a car. We saved nearly $400 renting through a local company! All in all it was a great experience working with you and we would definitely stay at your place again!! Thanks for everything!!

Just returned from a week at this condo. The location and facilities were fanstastic. I don't think there could be a better place to vacation. The condo itself was exactly as described by the owner. Short walk to the beach, unobstructed views, very beautiful landscaping. We spent time at both pools and both hot tubs. Went snorkeling right across the street. We have stayed at several other condos in this complex but nothing tops this for location. I picked this condo because the owner was so quick to reply to my email and was very business like. She disclosed the full cost of the unit including taxes, cleaning etc. No surprises. I am very happy with the entire experience of renting from Dorli.

My friend and I stayed at Maui Kamaole, G-106, for 9 days and absolutely loved our experience there! We were looking for a picturesque, quiet place with a view, without road noise, and big enough for two single girlfriends travelling together. We really loved our comfy condo with the ocean view from the Lanai and from the dining room table, where we could check our e-mails and use the wireless Internet to make bookings and check information, which was so handy. The beach supplies were all very much appreciated, including the umbrella, boogie boards, towels, etc. My friend tried the snorkel gear but found that the mask leaked. We borrowed one and totally enjoyed our Molokini snorkel adventure which we were able to conveniently board the boat for right across the street through Sunfire adventure tours at the Kihei boat launch. The other wonderful find was a yoga studio less than a five minute walk along the wonderful beach trail to the left as you leave the complex at Maui Yoga Path in the Mana Kai hotel. We found it our first day when we went searching for breakfast and found a great brunch at that same hotel at the Palm Springs restaurant - sitting outside as the ocean waves crashed, we enjoyed an amazing breakfast before being picked up by our Enterprise car rental company. They have excellent rates and it is much cheaper to get the car in Kihei than at the airport, and you can drop it off at the airport at the end. Doing yoga while looking out to the ocean was so wonderful, as was Deni Roman, the amazing teacher. We also really enjoyed enhaling the wonderful fragrances and bird watching at the condo as well as relaxing in the lovely swimming pool with the waterfall and the awesome jetted whirlpool. The apartment had more than ample space for two single travellers, with a bathroom each to ourselves, iPOD dock, TV, CD player, full kitchen, and BBQ just steps away; the only drawback being that one person got a wonderfully comfortable king size bed and the other person had a rather uncomfortable fold out sofabed. The only recommendation I have that could improve things would be to either have a king bed that could be separated into two singles (we had that at the next place we went to, and it worked out brilliantly) or an added sofa topper pad or foam that could be put on the one that is currently there. Everything else was just perfect - thanks so much for this very reasonably priced, most amazing holiday experience. We hope to be back soon!

Right from the beginning Dorli was extremely helpful in the planning of our trip. Her condo is absolutely perfect, it had everything that we were looking for. Every room was tastefully decorated and it had a breathtaking view. It was very clean and beautifully kept condo with all of the things that you would need. Across the street from one of the best beaches, walking distance to shops and restaurants. The swimming pool was also beautiful and only steps away from her condo. I would absolutely recommened this condo to anyone going to Maui. It was our first time there and Dorli made me feel very relaxed .

We stayed in your Condo for almost 3 weeks starting October 24th, it was awesome, very clean, great view, everything you need in a home away from home. The owners are super and will do their best to answer questions and look after any problems. Definitely recommend it
