This is a beautiful, modern home in a beach front compound overlooking Newport's Easton's Beach and famous Cliff Walk. It is located in the seaside community of Easton's Point which is between two of Newport's most beautiful beaches. Walk out the door and onto the beach in front of the compound!
The master bedroom has a queen-size bed with full bath. Second bedroom has a double bed; third bedroom has a double bed and a twin bed; and the fourth bedroom has a double bed with full bath in hall. Open living, dining, and kitchen area is perfect for entertaining. Enjoy colorful sunsets from the living room and deck. Just bring your suitcase because this home has everything you need for a great vacation. This home has central AC and we also provide wireless hi-speed internet. For the comfort and safety of our guests we do not allow Pets or Smoking.
Spend the day at the beach in front of your house or drive 1/2 to "Surfer's End" or 1 mile to the main entrance of Middletown's Sachuest Beach, afternoons sightseeing or shopping, and nights at lively restaurants and clubs on the harbor front. The property is within walking distance to Cliff Walk, Newport’s Easton’s Beach, and Middletown’s Sachuest Beach. This home is one to two miles from Bellevue Avenue Mansions and Yachting Center. It is two to three miles from major recreational attractions in Newport including Newport Country Club, Bailey’s Beach, New York Yacht Club, Ida Lewis Yacht Club, and Sail Newport Yachting Center/Fort Adams.
Newport, Rhode Island is the home of The International Tennis Hall of Fame, Newport Preservation Society and Newport Mansions, The Newport Jazz Festival, The Newport Music Festival and the Newport Film Festival. This home is close to Carnegie Abbey and Newport National, known for world class golfing.

- Beach View : 100 feet down path to sand, 150 feet from the mean high tide. This beach has seaweed that travels the beach with the tide. Most beaches in Newport may be closed after heavy rainstorms.
- Oceanfront : This home is on an oceanfront compound of 3 homes.
- Ocean View : Easton's '1st' beach and many other RI beaches have red seaweed that travels up and down the beach with the tides. It is not 'Red Tide'. At the beach in front of my house, after heavy rainstorms, they advise not to swim or it may be closed due to storm drain runoff. Storm drain runoff is bacteria and fertilizers that run down the streets into the storm drains that come together and flow into the beach. The seaweed traps the bacteria and the state has such stringent level requirements that they will advise against swimming or close the beach until the tides dilute the bacteria counts. This usually occurs with a tide change within 12-24 hours. I swim in the water and so do my kids when the beach is closed but we do not drink the water. You may get a stomachache if you drink it yet we have never experienced that. This does not occur at Sachuest '2nd' beach 1/2 mile away. I will reimburse for parking if closed.

This was a perfect spot for a fall ladies weekend! We were celebrating our friend's upcoming marriage and couldn't have picked a better place. There are beautiful views of the ocean, the beach is within walking distance, and downtown Newport is less than 2 miles away. The house is spacious, very clean, and is equipped with everything you could need. Thanks so much for a great weekend.

My idea of a relaxing vacation is one in which you park the car and don't get in it again until it is time to leave. This property was absolutely perfect for this type of relaxing vacation. There are several restaurants within minutes of the house and the beach is less than a minute away. The views from the house are spectacular - we particularly liked sitting on the deck watching the sunset over the Cliff Walk. The open floor plan was perfect for the eight of us and we were more than comfortable gathering to cook, eat, and watch football games. Julie provides a very well stocked house, anticipating the needs of her guests. She claims that all you need to bring are your clothes and she is right - the kitchen has everything you would want, there are beach toys, chairs, and towels, games, etc. We will rent this house again.

My family stayed at this beautiful home for the week of my wedding. It fit everyone so comfortably and had everything we needed for everyone from my elderly grandfather to my toddler niece. Julie is amazing and answered all of our questions. The house is so clean, looks so new and is in the best location! It's close to the beach and great restaurants and also has all you need to cook on your own, too. I would highly recommend this rental property. I couldn't have asked for a better home for my family!

This rental property was absolutely perfect for our "Girls Weekend" getaway! The house was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. This property is a renters dream! The photographs do not do this house justice. The place is immaculate and every amenity provided by the landlord. The location is perfect, views are spectacular and it truly is a short walk to the beach, good restaurants, and down town shopping. I spent the weekend here with my dearest girlfriends, and we all agreed -- we could come back to this place every year.

Julie's house is beautiful and very roomy. It has great views and is very clean. It slept 10 adults comfortably and there was plenty of room in the kitchen and living room to accommodate all of us during meals and down time. Julie was great to work with and very friendly. I would highly recommend this property to others!

We stayed at this home in Oct of 2010. The house was maticulous down to every detail and very clean. It was obvious the owners take pride in their propertry. They went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and had a great vacation. They have 2 children that were available for baby sitting services which worked out great for us. We would return to this property in the furture. Definitely recommend to anyone interested in a relaxing and convenient place to stay any time of the year. We will return in the summer of 2011.

There were 4 couples, plus my 2-yr-old, renting this house for 3 nights as we were in Newport for a wedding at the end of June. The house was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and had everything we needed and more. (Under the house in the garage we found all manner of baby and kid toys and recreational equipment, and there was a little plastic playset in the yard.) Also, the location was great, a short drive into town and a really quick walk to the beach. And there is a lovely view of the beach from the porch and the back bedroom suite. Julie, the land-lady, was very friendly, accessible and accomodating through-out the whole process of our booking the house, staying in the house and then recovering a few things for us that we accidentally left behind in the house! All in all, a great experience. The price was good value when compared to our alternative of renting 4 hotel rooms, and so much more convenient and fun! We would rent this house again (or one of Julie's other properties) in a heartbeat.

We spent Christmas here with 3 generations of family (6 adults, 2 kids) and had a wonderful time. The house was amazingly equipped with everything we needed and was big enough for us to be comfortable, nicely furnished, extremely clean, and close to all the things we wanted to do. The owner lives right next door and was very helpful. We hope to come back!
