My friends and I had the perfect getaway weekend in Newport! Julie's house is absolutely lovely... And we love to cook big dinners and brunches and her kitchen really did come fully equipped. I highly recommend staying here, and I'm sure that I'll be back again in the summer!

My idea of a relaxing vacation is one in which you park the car and don't get in it again until it is time to leave. This property was absolutely perfect for this type of relaxing vacation. There are several restaurants within minutes of the house and the beach is less than a minute away. The views from the house are spectacular - we particularly liked sitting on the deck watching the sunset over the Cliff Walk. The open floor plan was perfect for the eight of us and we were more than comfortable gathering to cook, eat, and watch football games. Julie provides a very well stocked house, anticipating the needs of her guests. She claims that all you need to bring are your clothes and she is right - the kitchen has everything you would want, there are beach toys, chairs, and towels, games, etc. We will rent this house again.

My family stayed at this beautiful home for the week of my wedding. It fit everyone so comfortably and had everything we needed for everyone from my elderly grandfather to my toddler niece. Julie is amazing and answered all of our questions. The house is so clean, looks so new and is in the best location! It's close to the beach and great restaurants and also has all you need to cook on your own, too. I would highly recommend this rental property. I couldn't have asked for a better home for my family!

This rental property was absolutely perfect for our "Girls Weekend" getaway! The house was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. We walked to the beach every day and Newport nightlife & shopping was only a short cab ride away. It was a very memorable weekend and we thank the owner for her flexibility & her hospitality.

This property is a renters dream! The photographs do not do this house justice. The place is immaculate and every amenity provided by the landlord. The location is perfect, views are spectacular and it truly is a short walk to the beach, good restaurants, and down town shopping. I spent the weekend here with my dearest girlfriends, and we all agreed -- we could come back to this place every year.

Julie's house is beautiful and very roomy. It has great views and is very clean. It slept 10 adults comfortably and there was plenty of room in the kitchen and living room to accommodate all of us during meals and down time. Julie was great to work with and very friendly. I would highly recommend this property to others!

Summer Holiday - Awesome Experience

We stayed at this home in Oct of 2010. The house was maticulous down to every detail and very clean. It was obvious the owners take pride in their propertry. They went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and had a great vacation. They have 2 children that were available for baby sitting services which worked out great for us. We would return to this property in the furture. Definitely recommend to anyone interested in a relaxing and convenient place to stay any time of the year. We will return in the summer of 2011.

We had the best time at this property. It was stocked with everything stated on the web site and the house was very clean. It is a perfect location for beach, food and in town fun. We could not have had a better time and it was because the rental was so easy and relaxing.

Fantastic Rental Experience!

There were 4 couples, plus my 2-yr-old, renting this house for 3 nights as we were in Newport for a wedding at the end of June. The house was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and had everything we needed and more. (Under the house in the garage we found all manner of baby and kid toys and recreational equipment, and there was a little plastic playset in the yard.) Also, the location was great, a short drive into town and a really quick walk to the beach. And there is a lovely view of the beach from the porch and the back bedroom suite. Julie, the land-lady, was very friendly, accessible and accomodating through-out the whole process of our booking the house, staying in the house and then recovering a few things for us that we accidentally left behind in the house! All in all, a great experience. The price was good value when compared to our alternative of renting 4 hotel rooms, and so much more convenient and fun! We would rent this house again (or one of Julie's other properties) in a heartbeat.

A Perfect Stay!

Everything about this house was great. From its amazing location to the way it was decorated. It was exactly as it was described to me and it had everything we needed for our family vacation. Perfect for a romantic getaway or a family trip with kids. I couldn't have asked for anything more. Julie was a pleasure to deal with and was extremely accommodating. It was a lot of work to sort through all of the homes available for rent but this one truly stands out! Hopefully this will save someone else a lot of searching time!

We stayed at this beautiful home over the Columbus Day Weekend to attend a family wedding. What a lovely spot! the home is spacious and beautifully furnished and impeccably maintained. Close to all the excitement of Newport without the crowds and traffic. Perfect for families w/small children as the home is equipped w/portacribs, cribs, and plenty of toys for play. Nothing to do but relax and enjoy. We had a great time and look forward to renting again.

I am writing to suggest that if anyone has the opporunity to rent this location they take advantage of it! The hose is clean, has amazing views of the beach and is a close walk there as well! The owner is great to deal with and very helpful. Perfect place to escape the rush of life! Enjoy!

Bachelorette Dream

II recently stayed at this property for Labor Day weekend. It was my best friend’s bachelorette and we wanted to make it an amazing experience for her. Needless to say this was the perfect home! It had everything we needed and more. The owner was so attentive and responsive. This was the first time I had rented a home in Newport and I am already looking to re rent once the spring comes around. The owner went a step ahead and washed our linens as to save us money on the cleaning fee. She was also very quick in returning our deposit. It was this and other little "extras" that made our stay so delightful. I would recommend this house to anyone with my eyes closed!

We rented the house for our wedding and had a blast. Everyone that stayed with us was very impressed and we would definitely rent it again. It was steps from the beach and only a 5 minute drive into Newport.

We came to Newport for a wedding and instead of renting 2 hotel rooms for the family rented the home. We have 3 kids ranging from 2-12 years old and it had something for all (trampoline / swingset / ping pong table for the older kids and crib / portacrib / high chair for the baby). I could not believe that the home is 22 years old. I would have guessed 4 years old based on how well it is maintained. Conveniently located right across the street from Easton Beach with views of mansions on Cliff Walk. Would highly recommend.

These houses were perfect. The location was a short walk to the beach and from each back deck you could see the water. The houses are kept in beautiful condition and had everything you could ever need for any kind of vacation. I would definitely rent them again for our next trip to Newport. this is a great place to go..especially with children the beach is beautiful..close distance to the house. The homeowners have everything from beach chair to toys to highchair...you will not be disappointed!

We spent Christmas here with 3 generations of family (6 adults, 2 kids) and had a wonderful time. The house was amazingly equipped with everything we needed and was big enough for us to be comfortable, nicely furnished, extremely clean, and close to all the things we wanted to do. The owner lives right next door and was very helpful. We hope to come back!

This was a perfect spot for a fall ladies weekend! We were celebrating our friend's upcoming marriage and couldn't have picked a better place. There are beautiful views of the ocean, the beach is within walking distance, and downtown Newport is less than 2 miles away.
