Elk Tracks Cabin is located exactly Mid-Way between Bryce & Zion National Parks (30+ minutes to each) in the mountains of Southern Utah. Our cabin is on 3.5 acres of woods and meadow, with a large covered deck and a great view of the Dixie national forest. ETC is at a cool, comfortable 7,500 feet above sea level.
Elk Tracks Cabin comes fully furnished with a large kitchen and dining area with a big family table. There are 3 bedrooms with 3 Queen beds plus a den with a futon couch, to sleep 6 adults and 4 children, in beds also the basement is finished with a family room and a queen futon and Satellite TV\DVD. We have 2 full baths. The 2 upstairs bedrooms are beautifully furnished with dormer window seats for you to read or relax in.
There is plenty of rustic appeal with the hickory hardwood floors, leather furniture, wood stove, and classic outdoor art/decor.
Elk Tracks Cabin is located next to the Dixie national forest with miles of hiking,biking and ATV trails to explore. There is trout fishing at nearby Navajo lake, Mammoth Creek, Duck Creek and the Sevier River. Horseback riding is available within 15 minutes of the cabin. We have a fire-pit with log seating for evening campfires (firewood provided). The night sky is awesome for star gazing.
The scenic wonders of BRYCE & ZION National Parks are 30 minutes away and the Grand Canyons north rim is 2+ hours away. The cabin is also just 37 miles to Cedar City, 92 miles to St. George and 205 miles to Las Vegas.
There is a International Airport in Las Vegas & Salt Lake City, also Cedar City has a regional airport. Interstate Highway 15 links both Salt Lake & Vegas with an exit at Cedar City then it is 30 minutes up the mountain to the cabin along scenic highway 14.

Hi Kris & Chris, I just wanted to let you know we really enjoyed our time and I feel remarkably refreshed. I loved your cabin; it was so thoughtfully decorated to create nostalgia without being hokey. It definitely touched that part of me that feels much like family vacations growing up and made me wish the kids were there. We watched a bunch of old Westerns, went to Kodachrome, Grovesnor arch, froze at Cedar Breaks, and walked locally in the national forest. I really wished we had stayed longer, and hope to be back.

What a fantastic house you’ve got! We want to transport it back to England with us!! Only spent 3 nights here but we managed to see both Bryce Canyon & Zion National Park – both very spectacular! After spending a week in Las Vegas your cabin was a pleasant end to our holiday.
