Thank you for a wonderful vacation at Hidden Dunes. My sister and I and my 3 sons (18, 13, 11) just spent a week here and had an absolutely wonderful time. The cottage was great--very comfortable, very well equipped, clean. The area was very quiet and just a short walk from the beach. We could not have asked for a better week. Thank you for a great place to stay--I look forward to coming back.

We stayed at this condo June 18-25, 2011 and what a wonderful time we had! We were two adults and 3 boys, 18, 13, and 11 and it was perfect. The condo is the most well stocked vacation home we have ever stayed at, plenty of towels, sheets, blankets, beach chairs/toys/towels and a extremely well equiped kitchen. We did not lack a thing. The unit is part of a 4 unit building but we never heard any of our neighbors and they told us they didn't hear us, very quiet. Hidden Dunes is a wonderful complex, quiet, relaxing and very safe and convienent to everything; shopping, grocery stores and anything else you can think of to do. It is sparkling clean and very well maintained. We loved the short walk to the beach but also had the option of taking the beach tram which was there almost immediately after calling for them. The three pools were great, feeding turtles and fish in the lake was fun and they even had a small grill and snack shop! There are gas grills located all throughout the complex which we and many others took advantage of. The complex was quite full while we were there but was not noisy and never never felt crowded, even on the beach (unlike the beach in front of the Sandestin resort which was too crowed to even walk around). Lastly, this was the first place we rented where we actually met the owner and Chris was great. She will go out of her way to make certain everything is perfect. Thank you so much, we will certainly be back!

This condo was just as pictured. Hidden Dunes is a great location; .5 mile to outlet mall, approximately 1 mile to Baytowne Wharfe and many other restaurants/shops. The walk to the beach from the cottage is only about 5 minutes. There is a pool about 80ft from the house with a hot tub that is very well kept. The condo was clean, had plenty of linens and everything we needed in the kitchen as well. The condos are not new; but this property had obviously been well kept and renovated through the years. The only concern we had was a broken coffee pot, I notified the owner and she delivered another one that same day. I would go back to this cottage and would recommend to friends and family.

The Cottage was absolutely wonderful! It was exactly as described and was very clean and well maintained. The Hidden Dunes property was also very beautiful and well maintained. It was the bright spot in an otherwise ill-fated vacation. Due to our bad timing, we had the "Oil Spill", shore line algae, bad weather and a personal family tragedy that teamed up to ruin our long-planned-for vacation. Although the TV ads for Florida consistently boasted of the beaches being cleaned as soon as any "tar balls" were found, we never saw anyone clean our beach. The tar balls came in on the second day of our stay. It was very sad to have to tiptoe around the beach to avoid getting tar on our feet. But we were able to find other beaches that were oil free. The algae was also very bad at the Hidden Dunes beach. We went in the water on our first day there and came out covered in it. But again, the beach we went to on our second day had very little algae. I don't know if this is a seasonal problem or not. We had planned a 7 day stay and as it turned out the weather forecast called for heavy rain on all but the first day due to the influence of hurricane Alex. Unfortunately we did not get the chance to stay but 4 of our 7 nights due to a family tragedy back home that required us to leave early. Chris was wonderful to work with and even refunded our unused portion of the rental fee. That was extremely decent of her and we appreciated it very much. We rated the property as "excellent" and assuming the algae problem was just a seasonal issue, we would definitely return.
