  We recently stayed at your home in Maggie Valley and had the best time!! Your home was spacious, clean and comfortable and oh my, what a beautiful view from your porch!! It is in such a great location as well. We went to Waynesville, Ashville and Cherokee, all within short driving distance. We cannot wait to visit Maggie Valley and stay at your home again!!

  We have had the privilege of staying in Appalachian Overlook for the past 6 or 7 consecutive summers. We simply love it! We have rented seasonally abourt 9 different locations in Maggie Valley since the early 1990's and this rental is by far our preferred spot! It is easily accessible from Soco Road. The unit is well stocked with varied supplies that most rentals do not have (i.e. spices, paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher soap, dish soap, laundry soap). We really like working with the most accommodating owners and the local rental representative. It is simply our summer escape haven! Appalachian Overlook, we love you!!

  We spent four great nights at Appalachian Overlook. Spending time in this mountain home is always a pleasure in any season. The view is beautiful and you can expect the home to be clean and comfortable. The cabin is centrally located to enjoy Asheville, Waynesville, Hendersonville and Cherokee. The Gateway to Smoky Mountain National Park is nearby.. We always anticipate spending time in this family friendly location.

  My family and I enjoyed 4 wonderful days in Maggie Valley. Your cabin is perfect for families. Our 2 teenage children each had their own room, which they appreciated. The cabin is very clean, and is easy to get to and does not require a 4-wheel drive like so many do. It is in a great location that is close to the main roads, and centralized whether you want to head over to Asheville, explore the local town, or hop on the Blue Ridge Parkway. All of the accommodations one might need are provided, including a coffee maker, dishwasher, microwave, clothes washer and dryer, cable tv, etc. The view from the deck is gorgeous. We saw several hummingbirds right outside the window. The small town atmosphere is fun. We really enjoyed the fall colors as we rode up the Blue Ridge Parkway, went on a hike, did some shopping in nearby Waynesville, and enjoyed great food in the local restaurants. In the evenings, we played games and sat by the fire. We left the cabin on day 4 refreshed and ready to head back to "the real world." I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a nice quiet, relaxing retreat!
