Nestled in the foothills of the West Maui Mountains, Wai Ola Vacation Paradise is the perfect location for family reunions, retreats and group gatherings. Located 2 1/2 blocks from the ocean on a sloping hillside, Wai Ola is an elegant 5000 square foot home with stunning ocean views from a 55' lanai (deck). The pool, spa and lush landscaping give the feel of a very private, "mini-resort".

Each of the bedrooms have a separate outdoor entrance and offer top of the line furnishings (King beds in all) and Hawaiian artwork to create the most comfortable & relaxing home away from home. All of the bedrooms are air-conditioned with ceiling fans. Each has a refrigerator, TV with DVD and a coffee bar with fresh Hawaiian Beans. The entire property has FREE wireless broadband internet access.

  • We just stayed at Wai Ola in Feb. We came from cold, icy Ohio. It was wonderful. We had our entire family with us - 3 grandsons -ages 8, 8, & 5 and 10 adults. We felt at home as soon as we arrived. Kim & Jim made us feel very welcome and at ease. There were fresh flowers in each of the units, fresh fruit in the kitchen and fresh coffee beans for all the coffee makers. They provided plenty of beach towels, beach mats, chairs, boogie boards, coolers, etc for us to take to the beach. The pictures don't do Wai Ola justice. It's much better. You can't sit out on your own private lanai eating breakfast and watching whales in Ohio. For us it was the perfect place. The 5 year old expressed it best when we got back to Columbus and he had tears streaming down his face and said, "I want to go back there!"

  • Our group stayed at Wai Ola in Dec, and the experience could not have been better. This was actually my husband’s and my third time at Wai Ola but the first time to rent the entire property. The attention to detail provided to us by Jim and Kim as single-room renters in the past was just as exceptional, if not more so, as whole-house guests. The main house and rooms were spotlessly clean and ready upon our arrival to start our vacation. As we have experienced in the past, Jim and Kim were waiting to greet us and welcomed us as if we were members of their own family. The location is ideal and so close to every dining, shopping or beach adventure imaginable but admittedly, it’s hard to tear yourself away from the Wai Ola property since everything you could ever need is right there. The kitchen is fully appointed, and we really took advantage of the barbecue grills pool-side. Nothing quite beats enjoying a cocktail, eating fresh grilled seafood and watching the sunset from the spacious lanai – unless maybe it’s taking a dip in your own private pool, relaxing in the hot tub or even watching the big game on the giant TV in the main living room. As always, Jim and Kim are available to offer a local’s perspective on where to go and what to experience on Maui – something you don’t get from the tourist magazines. As if escaping the frigid mid-west winter wasn’t reason enough for a vacation, Jim and Kim made it especially hard to leave their beautiful home. This rental property has something for everyone and is sure to please even the most discerning traveler. Once again, Wai Ola gets our highest praise.

  • My wife and I have stayed at Wai Ola twice and are going back again in January 09. There is no better place to stay in Maui. You are centrally located to everything, and i do mean everything, beaches, golf courses, restaurants...etc. The owners, Kim & Jim are great people who will gladly answer any questions that you may have. They know all the best places to go, and Kim's baked goods are soon to be the talk of Maui! Wai Ola offers you all the comforts of home, everything you need is there, from all the beach gear, to a portable cooler, boogie boards, at no extra cost. There is a reason that Wai Ola is rated # 1 on Trip Advisor, look no further if you are going to Maui, Wai Ola is the place to be.

    Thank you Kim & Jim... Wow, the week has flown by - and we enjoyed almost every moment of it. The kids, all five, had a blast - each in their own rooms - loved the house, especially the secret hideaway "attic" room upstairs. It made them feel like they had their own apartment.
