Acquapendente apartment description

Much sought after Area on Isla Canela beach.. We have furnished it to a very high standard and the apartment has everything one could wish for. There is a washing machine, dishwasher, tumble dryer, microwave, oven, kettle, toaster, iron, 2 English Plug Sockets. The apartment sleeps up to five guests and has two bedrooms. The master bedroom is en suite and has patio doors that lead directly onto the lovely terrace balcony. The second bedroom is a twin and has a shower room/toilet next door, making it ideal for families or couples. The best feature is the large terrace with views of the Ocean towards Portugal and are stunning in the evening. For those who want to simply sit and relax as the sun sets ahead, this is the ideal location. There is a high chair and a travel cot with mattress. The TV also receives UK Channels such as BBC, ITV, The management company are close by and on hand should you require any assistance on your visit.


The Summer Months: The beach of Isla Canela is unlike most beaches in Spain it is very quiet and relaxing and has many beach restaurants providing locally caught fish and fantastic Spanish food. It is a very unhurried atmosphere and in no time you will want to return. We recommend you visit Ayamonte Town in the evening and return after dinner to park up on the beach and enjoy the local bars and entertainment and then just stroll a few meters back to your apartment without the worry of getting cabs or driving, or enjoy the fantastic views from the balcony with your favourite tipple as you watch the excellent sunset over Portugal. From July till August there is a train that picks you up opposite the apartment at takes you to Isla Canela Marina where you can sample all types of food and drink, then at the end of the evening you catch the train back to the apartment and need never have to drive whilst on the Island. There are also some fantastic hotels offering nightly cabarets and children's entertainment.

Golf Course bookings and discounts:
If you are interested in playing other golf courses other than Isla Canela such as Castro Marim, El Rompido, Quinta de Ria, Quinta de Cima, Benimor, Islantilla etc then we can arrange for tee times,discounts and club hire deliverd to your apartment for as little as €25.00. Please let us know at time of booking.

Also within an hours drive you can access all the main Portuguese Algarve courses such as San Lorenzo, Quinta De Lago, Vale De Lobo and Villamora.
Airports/ Car Hire: There are three options regarding airports. Faro is the closest at 50 Kilometres (45 minutes) with flights from Easyjet, Monarch, and Excel. Then Seville is just over an hour drive being served by Ryanair and British Airways. The third airport is Jerez, this is a two hour drive but is straight forward as the route is on two motorways. Ryanair fly to this airport.

Should you need a good car hire company please let us know at time of enquiry for both Portugal and Spain.

The Media:
The small complex and resort of Isla Canela is featured on Real estates TV on channel 250 on Sky and the area of The Costa De La Luz is also featured in this months Channel 4 magazine 'Place in the Sun'.

The Golf Complex is approx 2km away and has 18-hole, par 72 course within a 5 minute drive from the apartment.                   Playa Canela is the beach area of Isla Canela Island. The apartment is the best place of all the beach apartments close to all amenities good access. There are many good restaurants and tapas bars offering exceptional value both in Playa Canela and Ayamonte town. Golfers will rejoice in the amount of choice they have within a short 'drive' from Ayamonte, in both Spain and Portugal, the closest being Par 72 just 2 km away. The weather is warm all year round but can get very hot in the summer months. Please Note: There are many apartments for rental on the Island. Los Gavilanes is the one of the most sought after areas on the beach with everything within easy reach,and there is NO building work in progress around the small complex...There are No mosquito's around this apartment in the summer Months.                   The apartment has fantastic views and is minutes from the beach. you can pop home and have lunch on the balcony and everything is close by. The sunset towards Portugal in the evening is stunning and goes down just before 9.00 PM. The apartment is one of three on the 4th floor with no one passing the windows to get to their apartment or any lift noise in the evening. Its just perfect.
