Hi and welcome to our condo. We purchased our favorite vacation spot in Kona in 2003. We just love this location and never tire of our visits. We come as often
as possible and try to bring our family/friends along. Our home is in Idaho and we have traveled to many other places, but the Big Island is still our favorite.

My family of four stayed in the condo for almost 2 weeks and enjoyed the place very much. It was well stocked with items like coolers, chairs, umbrella, snorkel masks, boogie boards, hair dryers, etc. We used all these items on a daily basis. The place was spacious for the family and we enjoyed not having to share tvs, bedrooms or bathrooms with our two sons. The pool was nearby. The yard was beautiful, especially with the birds singing in the morning. I did recommend new pillows and blankets on the master bed, but other than that I was very pleased with all that was available to us. We didn't want to leave and we still talk about the place and the vacation itself. Thank you for being very kind and accommodating.

Comfortable, very clean, quiet and the ocean front was beautiful.

We were total surprised by the condo. We had just come from Oaho/Honolulu and this unit was many times better. The space was great, the porch was very relaxing. Of course, we were are from Texas and had to learn to live in a climate with no A/C (was not an issue). We know where we want to stay if we go back to Kona. The owner Philip was very easy to work with and was flexible enough to allow us to stay another night without issue.

We stayed in this unit last month and were impressed by our complete and well furnished the condo was. In addition, Phil the owner was very responsive to any inquiries that we had as well. The complimentary wifi and telephone calls were definitely appreciated as well. The Keauhou Surf and Racqut is a very well maintained and well located resort with a great pool for families with kids and tennis courts as well. We would definitelt recommed this well appointed unit to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Keauhou.

I work for the airlines so I frequent the Big Island several times a year, and now my daughter and I take a "girls trip" each year. It was nice to have our own bedroom with comfort, however the front bedroom needs new blinds as the light outside in the walk ways shines threw the blinds that no longer are adjustable, minor detail. The quite, and greenery was awesome, we too felt at home right away. The parking is great..but a new neighbor now parks an oversize duelly truck next to the spot which makes getting in and out difficult.Well maintain, stocked, clean, just lovely. We had a difficult time with the Wi-Fi reception, my daughter suggested a lock on it with a code for better reception.HIghly reccommend excellent customer service, will rent again if available. This unit suits everyone, and an accurate description, but still pleasantly surprised. Visit Nori's in Hilo for Hawaiian food, use the saddle road, breathtaking.
Owner response:We plan on making a return visit in November of this year and will address the blinds issue. We appreciate all input about how to improve the condo for all our future quests. The Wi-Fi sometimes has to be re-booted and the unit code is 102. We try to go at least once to twice a year to update and address any issues that need attention. Thank you, The Jordan's

My family and I have stayed in numerous VRBO's over the past several years. We nearly always use them as our peferred vacation lodging. I have never had a finer place to stay EVER. The price for this unit reflected a special price that was well lower than other units on the market. The unit was immaculate (seemed new) and is located in a gorgeous tropical garden with controlled access not more than 5 minutes walk to the ocean and 10-15 minutes to one of the top snorkeling beaches on the island. The unit was easily accessed on the ground floor with ample parking directly in front. Tenants are offered access to a wonderful pool, tennis courts, grills under shelter and well equiped patio with wonderful views of gardens. It was open and airy with very comfortable furniture and beds. The kitchen lacked nothing. Support equipment such as BBQ equipment, beach chairs, towels and coolers were on hand. The size of the unit was ample. There was no noise bleed-over from other units. All your audio visual and computer needs were exceeded. The washer and dryer in the unit allowed us to pack lightly. Working with Phil was a delight. He left no question unanswered, and provided inside information for his tenants. Bottom line...we have NEVER had a better VRBO experience in our years of using them!

We are a couple with two young children (under 5) and stayed 4 nights at this condo. As other reviewers pointed out this is a spacious, well located and well maintained unit. You can see in the details that the owners use it: good quality furniture, kitchen wear, towels, appliances, and the list goes on. Something we really appreciated and no one spelled out yet is the parking spot: it is not just an "off street parking", it is a designated spot (the unit number is marked on the pavement) right in front of the unit entrance! You never have to worry about finding a spot close to "home" to unload/load the kids and the beach gear from car. The local beach was great for end of the afternoon walks and the pool is the *best* for young children starting at 1ft deep. The supermarket near by is not just convenient but offers more than we expected, namely: organic baby food, freshly baked La Brea bread and good nite pull ups!! As many other visitors we specially enjoyed the lanai, with is even nicer than it appears on the pictures. We sure hope to go back and enjoy another stay there.

We have stayed in this condo on two occasions for six weeks each year. We will rent it again if possible. Owner very helpful when we had minor problems. Beatiful view and grounds in excellent shape. Amenities close by include restaurants, major grocery chain and drugstore, medical office, theatres. gas station, post office etc. Snorkel beach nearby. Excellent large pool with shallow end for children, great tennis courts. Gated community and felt secure. The complex is quiet and peaceful and the main highway is close by. Golf coureses next to the condo are excellent. Our favorite restaurant and a Mai Tai bar are located in the Royal Kona Resort located about 4 miles North of the condo. I have recommended this condo to several close friends and relatives. As well as being spacious and well furnised it is located on the ground floor with a parking spot at the door. There is a great deal to see and experience on the Island. Highly recommended!

Your nest in paradise exceeded our expectations and we felt totally at home! The condo is spacious, bright, tastefully furnished, and totally comfortable. The new appliances are a bonus. It was especially convenient for us, with my husband's physical limitations, to park, come and go, and move around inside. And the location is so convenient to everything -- much more than we expected having stayed closer to Kailua before. Would love to stay there again if we could manage it. Be sure to include the Fish Hopper in Kailua-Kona to your restaurant list -- we think it's the best one in town.

This condo was comfortable, spacious, and well supplied. We ate all our meals on the lanai and even picked fresh starfruit from a tree in the yard. The condo complex is quiet and beautiful. One night we used the outdoor covered BBQ shelter to grill island-raised grassfed beef and local fish. We could walk to a beach with great snorkeling and, within a short drive, go to a fine boogie boarding beach as well as several farmers markets and grocery stores. As I watch snow fall outside my window right now, I wish I was back in the Keauhou condo.
