Beachside, but not beachfront. Only 75 paces from the condominium to the walkover to one of the Panhandle's beautiful beaches. No roads or streets to cross. This is a quiet condominium, off the street and two blocks from Route 30-A. There are no high rise towers in Blue Mountain Beach so there is little traffic and never a crowd on the beach.
Wireless Internet access for guests bringing their own laptops.
This unit has been renovated and furnished with a wrap around couch in the living room and a queen-size bed with a "Bodipedic" mattress in the bedroom. Italian tile floor and newly painted soft coastal colors on the walls.
There is a small balcony with lawn chairs outside the entrance.

We returned for the 5th time to this quaint condo with great location. We were truly beach bums this time around. Couldn't pull ourselves away from the crystal clear water, blue skies and sunshine. We enjoyed steamed shrimp "to go" from nearby Goatfeathers Restaurant/Seafood Market several times. Witnessed beautiful sunsets and even watched the moon set into the ocean late one night....a sight we had never seen before! An added blessing to our stay. The owners/agent great to work with, as always. If you need a relaxing get-a-way, this is the place. Just don't book it when we want to..... Ha!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway.

My husband and I have stayed in this condo 3 times and hope to return again soon. Although this condo is not beachfront, it is as close as you can get. The walk to the beautiful white sand and ocean's edge is so easy and close. The beach area has never been crowded. The condo is clean and updated. The owners are very helpful and nice to work with. I would recommend this quaint condo for a relaxing get-a-way. We call it our "home away from home" and really wish it could be. Take the short drive to Seaside if you've never been. Many unique shops and lots of activity. There are several other shops on your way there worth checking out, especially The Lilly Pad. We usually eat at nearby Goatfeathers and also drive into Destin for a great meal at Pompano Joe's.....on the water! Most of all, we enjoy starting our day with a cup of coffee on the beach, spending most of the day at the beach and ending our day with a glass of wine as the sun sets before us..... Wish we were there.....

My husband and 1 1/2 year old son just spent a week in Blue Mountain at this condo. From the moment we walked in we felt comfortable and it felt like home. We loved that it had all the windows, so even though it's not directly facing the Gulf, we could hear it from our patio and sometimes at night. We were amazed at how easy it was to get to the beach, literally a one minute walk. Everything in the condo felt new, and the bed was very comfortable. We're looking forward to another visit to this area and hopefully in this condo again!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children.
