AHE LANI (Heavenly Breeze) is a new (2005) two bedroom/two bathroom private luxurious Kauai rental vacation home in sunny Poipu, Kauai surrounded by lush foliage. Here you will find quality of design and decorations at a value price.
Step into old Hawaii in a new beach house! As you enter, imagine yourself as a turn of the century plantation manager relaxing in the spacious living room of this plantation-style Kauai rental vacation home overlooking the tropical garden.
Before dinner, you and your family might enjoy the early evening sipping cocktails on the large covered lanai. Or imagine how your family might "talk story" at the comfortable dining table as the meals were prepared in this modern fully-equipped kitchen.

Down the hall are two large bedrooms, each with their own private bathroom. The master suite has a king-size bed and beautiful tropical bedroom furniture. The second bedroom has two twin beds that can be converted to a king bed and bamboo headboards. Both bedrooms have ample closet space, and all the beds are firm and plush. Outside every window is tropical greenery. There are sleeping arrangements for up to four people.

Rate Details (In US Dollars)
2011 Low Seasons Rental Rate: (9/3 to 11/19) $190/night.
2012 Rate: $205/night. 2012 Low Season Rate: $195/night (4/9-6/15 and 9/3-12/17)
The only other costs are 13.25% Hawaii tax and a $165 cleaning fee.
Minimum rental is 7 nights (14 at Christmas) unless there is a "fill-in" vacancy.
Full rent, tax, & cleaning fee are due 60 days (90 at Xmas) prior to arrival.
$500 refundable security deposit is required within 10 days of reservation.
Reservations are made directly with the owner. This house is managed by a local
Kauai Realtor, a member of the Hawaii Association of Realtors and the BBB.

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
We bought the lot a few years after hurricane Iniki while the cost of lots was still low because it offered us the opportunity to help vacationers experience a really wonderful house in a good location at an affordable rent. This house is a couple of houses removed from the water, and the rent is less than half of those houses less than 100 yards away! This is really one of the best values in Poipu. It is not the best house in the best location, but it is a great house in a very good location at a fair and affordable rent.

Best of all, the open living area promotes family gatherings with places to sit and "talk story", but with plenty of room for everyone to have adequate space.
One of the finest restaurants on Kauai. Make your reservations prior to sunset.
Not too much sand but good snorkeling. People mostly lay on the lawn in front of the Beach House Restaurant.
People ask about the construction in Poipu. Currently this 300 unit, four story condominium is under construction. It is 1/2 mile away and is not causing us any noise or dirt problems.

Aloha from Jim and Valorie Wisda. We live most of the time in Palos Verdes Estates, California where we raised a wonderful son and daughter. We have been coming to Poipu since 1970 and no matter how often we travel to other places or countries we visit, like this picture in Thailand, we always look forward to coming back to Poipu several times a year.

Aloha! Thank you for your lovely, perfect home. We had a wonderful family vacation here. We went on many adventures & it was always nice to come home at the end of the day. We cooked many fabulour meals here and really appreciated all the details you thought of. I took our 7 yr old on a HoloHolo charter of the Napali Coast...it was amazing! Micah & Ethan went ziplining, we loved Waimea Canyon, all the lookouts & hiking the Pihea Trail (we rented a frame backpack for our 1 yr old..ReadyRentals was awesome). We absolutely loved Baby Beach, snorkeling at Lawai, Poipu & Kiahuna. Walking on Mahaulepu was glorious. On Friday, November 12th, we got married at Keiki Cove..it was perfect! It was also Micah's birthday. :-) Mahalo!

The island of Kauai is absolutely beautiful. Poipu Beach was the best for relaxation and fun--watching the surfers, snorkeling, swimming and sunbathing. JoJo's Shaved Ice definately is great. All the scenic views--the mountains and canyons are breathtaking. And the blue colors of the Pacific are beautiful. Then, at the end of each day of our adventures we were so lucky to be able to come back to this house which truly was our "home away from home". You have a lovely place here. Thank you for sharing it.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! You have a beautiful home which we enjoyed greatly. It all started with a few pics on the computer of your home, five months of waiting, and then arrival! We were taken back on how much the home exceeded our expectations. Lots of extras, and nicely outfitted. It was a great home base to set forth from on our daily adventures. Our 3-year old was in heaven, and so were mom & dad. So far out of the three islands we have been to, Kauai takes the top.
