AHE LANI (Heavenly Breeze) is a new (2005) two bedroom/two bathroom private luxurious Kauai rental vacation home in sunny Poipu, Kauai surrounded by lush foliage. Here you will find quality of design and decorations at a value price.
Step into old Hawaii in a new beach house! As you enter, imagine yourself as a turn of the century plantation manager relaxing in the spacious living room of this plantation-style Kauai rental vacation home overlooking the tropical garden.
Before dinner, you and your family might enjoy the early evening sipping cocktails on the large covered lanai. Or imagine how your family might 'talk story' at the comfortable dining table as the meals were prepared in this modern fully-equipped kitchen.
The extensive use of natural wood trim and the beautiful South Pacific decor of this Kauai rental vacation home make this enchanting nostalgia come true for you and your family.
Down the hall are two large bedrooms, each with their own private bathroom. The master suite has a king-size bed and beautiful tropical bedroom furniture. The second bedroom has two twin beds that can be converted to a king bed and bamboo headboards. Both bedrooms have ample closet space, and all the beds are firm and plush. Outside every window is tropical greenery. There are sleeping arrangements for up to four people.

Thank you for such a wonderful stay!! we are already planning our next visit. We hve been here for nine days but still have not had enough time. Our trip up the Napali Coast was amazing! Too many amazing beaches to recommend just one but the beaches on Polihale State Park are definitely worth the drive. Aloha. ps. Our family from England escaped the incessant rain that is falling back home to languish in sunny Hawaii. To us this is paradise on earth, secluded beaches, warm breezes and lush gardens. What more could you ask for? We've stayed on Maui and the Big Island but Kauai is the jewel in the crown. We kiked an 8 mile trail in the Waimea Canyon through the swamp--and yes one child fell in the swamp! We had a surfing lesson as a family and mummy surprised herself by standing up and gliding to shore. After busy days it was to relaxing to come home to Ahe Lani which feels like a proper home rather than a rental. Thank you for sharing it with us.Did you find this review helpful? Our family celebration of our 25th anniversary on the Garden Isle. It wass beautiful. So many flowers and tropical fruit and those roosters. Loved the house. It was perfect. Loved the Napali Coast and watching the sunset from the Hanalei Bay pier. Our funnest was renting kayaks and paddeling to the fern grotto and the secret falls.Did you find this review helpful? This is a wonderful house and convenient to seeing so much. We really liked 1) the National Botanical Garden just down the road. Take the riding tour--excellent. 2) Waimea Canyon drive. We loved the Ahe Lani, we feel like at home, it's so relaxing and welcoming, it was the best decision to come here! Our baby son is also very happy and feels so good!!! The location is also very nice and we like the little Baby Beach close to the house so much...it's so easy to walk...very great! The BBQ is also fantastic, we grilled the best steaks & shrimps on it! Thank you for a wonderful stay in your house! We would love to come back and we hope it works out one day, although the distance from our house is very far.Did you find this review helpful? Relaxing....this home is it! Appreciated the well stocked kitchen, pantry, baths, etc that included beach chairs & boogie boards. Great location also. We appreciated the homey & inviting atmosphere. We are here in Kauai for the first time during our school break to escape a bit of our Canadian winter. Kauai has been like paradise to us! Staying here at the Ahe Lani has been such a treat--it has been such a "homey" experience--with all the little extras to make it so comfortable and convenient! Unfortunately we are leaving tomorrow for the north shore of the island for seven days. We are looking forward to seeing some new scenery but aren't looking forward to leaving this lovely cottage! It was a real pleasure being here. Thanks for making this really feel like home. Like the others before us--we do plan to be back--right here--on another vacation! About the owner: Aloha from Jim and Valorie Wisda. We recently moved to Scottsdale, Arizona from Palos Verdes Estates, California where we raised a wonderful son and daughter. We have been coming to Poipu since 1970 and no matter how often we travel to other places or countries we visit, like this picture in Thailand, we always look forward to coming back to Poipu several times a year.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes:
We bought the lot a few years after hurricane Iniki while the cost of lots was still low because it offered us the opportunity to help vacationers experience a really wonderful house in a good location at an affordable rent. This house is a couple of houses removed from the water, and the rent is less than half of those houses less than 100 yards away! This is really one of the best values in Poipu. It is a great house in a very good location at a fair and affordable rent.
