This condo is a peaceful, cottage-like home offering serenity, comfort and warmth. I was in search of a comfortable, clean place to retreat to. Her condo far exceeds the description and photos available on the site. From the welcome wreath on the door to the special extras she has adorning each nook and cranny of her home, this condo is so well equipped one has nothing to want for. The variety of books, the comfortable master bed with cozy comforters, the fireplace to ward off the chill of winter breezes, the kitchen so well stocked for meal preparations, are just the tip of what the condo has to offer. It was one of the most wonderful experiences I've yet to have at the beach with 40+ years of visiting the gulf coast. I have every intention to return to this condo for many more visits.

Hi Ricky! Thanks for letting us know the deposit is on its way...we had a great time on our vacation and your condo was so comfortable and cozy! The view was beautiful, especially in the mornings. As an addition, our children loved your original Jungle Book DVD...it was a hit with them, and I am not exaggerating when I say they probably watched it once per day (with popcorn of course)! This was my very first visit to Gulf Shores. How beautiful ! and to stay in such a lovely condo. We were so impressed with how well stocked it was. Just wished we found the binoculars sooner than our last day there:) Would have helped with seeing the dolphins. You thought of everything. I must say too, that we were impressed on how clean the condo was. Our weather was awesome and the beach was great. I had a very relaxing time and will miss my daily morning walks on the beach. Thank you.

great spring break

First time in a few years our kids had matching breaks. Wanted to take advantage! Lots of items in home to use. We weren't there long enough to cook, but next time I breaking out the Margarita Machine!!! : ) Great location, close to everything, but very quiet at the same time.Security on the property all of the time was nice, especially for parking issues. Pools are clean and plenty of chairs. The Hangout was fun and Franco's was delicious. Beach is spotless!! Hopefully this will work out again next spring!!!

Fanatastic Choice for Overnight Stay

Great location, quiet complex with unbeatable view of the gulf. I was afraid that only being on the 4th floor was not going to give us a very good view, but I was pleasantly surprised to see one of the best views I've ever seen at the gulf, including my stays at Destin. Great Condo has plenty of blankets, books, toys, and videos to keep everyone entertained. A big thank you to the owner, Ricky for being friendly and helpful, what a great stay. We had to come in for just one night to bring my Air Force son to see my bed-ridden mother while he was home on leave. The price made it possible for them to see each other for the first time in 4 years. I would highly recommend this condo to everyone.

Great Time - Surfside Shores

We LOVED the condos on the beach (they are as beautiful as the pictures)! It was great to have 2 side by side - 2 bedroom condos for our family to use while enjoying time with our son before his deployment. We relaxed on the beach, BBQ'd with family and friends, and made wonderful memories that will last a lifetime. The views from the balcony were spectacular - we saw dolphins swimming one morning and the sunsets were fantastic. Ricky was very nice to deal with. Everything you need to have in a "home away from home" was there to use. The time went to quickly and we would love to return in the future and see more/enjoy the area and stay at Rick'y condos.

Surfside Shores condo

Wow! You have thought of everything! We could not have been more pleased with your beautiful condo. We had everything we needed and more. The pitures dont do it justice. You really have to see this to believe it! The location and view are amazing, the grounds are also very nice. We stayed for 2 weeks and there was no oil for the entire time, just beautiful beach. If you have the time please go and enjoy yourselves. You wont be disapointed. Ricky was great to work with and answered any questions we had. If I had to nit-pick it would be that the cleaning crew could do better on their dusting as we had several dust bunnies. Other than that it was very clean. We look forward to going back.

Outstanding view and very nicely furnished

This condo is exactly as described--very nicely furnished with outstanding views of the Gulf from both the living area and the master bedroom. Condo is very conveniently located only about 1/2 mile West of the T. The owner is very friendly and helpful. We recommend eating at the Wheelhouse (very reasonable and very good Po' Boys) on 59 across from the Water Park, Bahama Bob's (sandwiches, etc.) which is between the condo and 59 on beach side), Cosmos and Lester's (both more expensive than the other two but good) in Orange Beach. We ate at Tacky Jack's (on the water) but were disappointed--great waitress and view but food selection was very limited and overpriced and quality of food was ok at best.

Love the condo, very nice, clean, beds are comfortable (a big plus)! Soon as you walk in the door I felt at home.....decor is beautiful! Great location......right on the beach......also pool is just below the balcony....got up every morning and went straight to the balcony! Wished we could have stayed longer! Would love to come and stay again soon!

I know this is long overdue, but better late than never I hope:) This is the second year we stayed in Ricky's condo during the winter, and I just can't say enough good things about the condo and Ricky!! It's so pretty inside, and the balcony and view are the best! The location couldn't be better either. We were lucky enough to meet Ricky, and I even got to go to lunch with her. We loved eating at King Neptunes. I hope I have the name correct. The food is so good and the prices are so reasonable. I would rather stay here than down in mid to southern Florida any day. And Ricky, if you see this, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING!!

My wife and I, and another couple spent 4 nights at this condo in early November 2009. The condo had everything we needed and the location is fantastic. It is right on the beach and close to restaurants and shopping. The owner, Ricky, was very helpful and a very nice lady. We do quite alot of traveling, and we really enjoyed this trip. We came for the beach and golf.

Took my twin granddaughters to the beach over their Fall Break. This is a great condo; good location, close to everything. Kitchen very well equipped. Loved the decor. Very comfortable and homey. Hope to return soon.

This condo was perfect for our family of 5-two of them teens! We were able to access the pool and Gulf easily and could quickly run up to our kitchen for lunch. The chair rentals were handy with umbrellas. Ricky's suggestions for restaurants were fabulous! We'll be sure to visit again!

This condo is awesome. I carried my mother, my daugher,son-in-law and 2 grandchildren and we all had a wonderful time. The location was convenient to everything we wanted to do, and the view is spectacular. I love to cook and we always eat some meals in. I have never stayed anywhere that had everything I needed in the kitchen, until I stayed with Ricky. We had plenty of room even with 2 kids. We will be staying here again next summer. Wonderfully warm and cozy. Great place to come home to after a fun day at the beach! My daughter and son loved playing on the balcony since they could watch people on the beach and hear the waves. Really comfy beds with a great view from the master bedroom!

My husband & I stayed at this condo 1/12 to 2/9/08. It is a wonderful condo! I am a really picky person when it comes to staying at motels/hotels, etc. It must be absolutely clean & spotless, or I won't stay! I have a hang-up about dirty, stinky places. This condo is spotless. It's beautifully decorated & so comfortable. It is equipped with everything and anything you could possibly need! I love the fact that it has french doors in both the living room and master bedroom that leads out to a really nice large balcony. At night we would open the door in the master bedroom and listen to the waves crashing on the beach all night. Now we can't sleep at home because we don't have that wonderful sound. Also the location is the best! It's much more quiet where it is located, yet you are only 1 quick mile from "59" where most of the stores and resturants are. Ricky & her husband are so helpful and kind if you need anything or have any questions. You won't go wrong in renting this wonderful piece of paradise:)

My family and I stayed in this condo for a week back in September. I would HIGHLY!! recommend this condo to anyone who is looking for a beautiful, spacious, oceanfront condo that is affordably priced. I asked a lot of questions before making the reservation because we had never rented from an owner before. Ricky was SO nice and answered all my questions.
