Thunder Butte Mountain Lodge with 360 degree views, sits proudly on top of a mountain and has survived the largest wild fire in Colorado history.... The Hayman Fire in 2002.
The lodge itself is surrounded by pine, with amazing views in all directions. There is a hot tub, fire pit, and pond in front with a wooden bridge leading to a small clearing.

There are 6 full suites, 5 have Jacuzzi tubs in the bath area as well as showers. There are two other bedrooms and a sleeping room. The lodge currently will sleep up to 22 guests. Most suites have individual decks. All Suites have flat screen television, some have microwaves and coffee makers.
There is a 'Pub' bar on the walk out level, complete with Pool table, Dart Board, & Board Games. The bar area has pub height bar, full size Refrigerator, and stovetop. All you need is a bartender and you're set for the night.

Golf course, (20 minutes to woodland park), with dinosaur resource center & museum, as well as family owned shops and restaurants, boating, waterskiing etc, at pueblo resevoir- (1 hour and 15 minutes), Breckinridge ski & snowboarding resort (1 hour,45 minutes), cripple creek casinos and molly kathryn mine (1 hour, 15 minutes) santa's workshop amusement park, cave of the winds, pikes peak and cog railway (all 25 minutes), air force academy, Cheyenne mtn zoo, garden of the gods, museums and other attractions, in Colorado Springs (45 minutes) also Manitou springs unique shops and local artists. awesome atv trails within minutes of cabin. Bring your horses. Too much to mention...Skiing or boating is about 1 1/2 hours from the lodge.
