This lovely beach house on a quiet cul-de-sac has rights to a private beach just one block away and is perfect as your home away from home. The comfortable, spacious home features 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, dining room, family/TV room, sunroom, patio with Weber gas grill, washer/dryer and modern kitchen.
The house is within walking distance from Ocean Beach which is very kid-friendly featuring mini golf, video games and a nice wooden boardwalk. We are 10 minutes from I-95, 2.5 hours from NYC, 1.5 hours from Boston and 20 minutes from Mystic which has an aquarium, seaport and great dining. The New London area has great restaurants, museums and activities for both children and adults -- it’s also less than 30 minutes from the Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun Casinos.

Why the Owner Chose New London
This area is very family friendly. The sand on the beaches is very soft and the waves from the Long Island Sound are tame as compared to beaches on the ocean.
Public beach that charges admission during the day; however, at night admission is free. Great for walks along the boardwalk, miniature golf, soft serve ice cream and visiting the arcade.
This private beach is reserved for members of our association only. It is slightly more than 1 block from our home.

We have srayed at this location twice before and are about to stay for a third time this summer. Very close to beach. There are beach chairs provided. Very wonderful outdoor shower in a lovely and roomy backyard. Expansive and comfortable common areas on 1st floor. Close to playgrounds, restaurants and boardwalk with amusements for children. Owner is EXTREMELY available and responsive to all and any questions and concerns. A true pleasure to communicate with. With 5 bedrooms, definitely a great place for a larger group. Enjoy!!
Recommended for:Age 55+, sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children.
