Our 4th year renting the cottage. Selection the first year was based on it being pet friendly. The next three years have been without a pet, but the charm of the cottage brings us back. It is perfect for a couple, in our case perfect for seniors. It has always been expertly cleaned, is comfortable, well equipped, and ideally located. The beach is easy to get to. Restaurants and supermarkets are a short drive. And of course, for a couple of retired folks, the price is most reasonable. The owners and their agent are excelent people to deal with.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, pet owners, girls getaway, age 55+.

This house was perfect for what we needed. It was a short walk to the beach, comfortably slept my husband and I and our two teenage boys on the pullout couch. Kitchen had everything we needed, even had a washer & dryer, shed had beach chairs, bikes and even fishing poles for our boys. Our boys especially liked the outdoor shower. Even our yellow lab loved it! Plenty of bath AND beach towels too! Brian (property manager) even emailed us with some great restaurants....loved the Lazy Lobster!
Recommended for:Pet owners, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My husband and I (plus dog) spent a glorious month in this lovely little cottage and intend to visit again next year. We live in Canada and our winters are long so this was the perfect way to end our winter.
Recommended for:Age 55+.

This was such a comfortable accommodation. It was perfect for the two of us. I just loved walking around the area with my dog. The area is beautiful and so clean and well maintained. The cottage was well stocked with supplies that you might need during the week. We brought plenty of food with us and saved money by cooking many of our meals inside. It is just a short drive to the Anna Maria area where there are many shops and fun things to do. Loved eating on the piers. We also enjoyed going into the MOTE Aquarium area and seeing what they had available. We really enjoyed the SOS - Save Our Seabirds - hospital. We are hoping to return soon!

My husband and I spent a week at this property and had such a wonderful time that we are heading back next year. The photos do not do justice to the property. It was so clean and bright. I loved the French Doors that opened out to the deck and shower. The outdoor shower was such a treat after a long day at the beach. I highly recommend this property.
