I was attending a conference at the Crowne Plaza. This condo is less than a third of a mile from the Crowne Plaza, which is a four star beachfront resort. So this location was perfect for me. My family of four stayed a full week in this spacious condo for only a little more than it would have cost me for 3 nights at the Crowne Plaza. But it's a great Hilton Head condo for a lot of other reasons too. There's a bike path taking you right to the resort, beach, and anywhere else you want to go. Helps too that the owners provide bikes with the rental, because you will want access to a bike during your Hilton Head stay. One less thing to pay for when you get there. In addition to the bikes, there are lots of family-friendly extras. The beach locker is great, so you have a nice umbrella and chairs, as well as toys, that you don't have to carry. The beach parking is a nice extra, even though it's an easy walk. We also enjoyed the nice Weber grill. My kids (6 and 2) enjoyed the beach toys as well as the toys inside the condo. The Shipyard location was also nice. Really felt like a private, secluded resort. I don't play tennis or golf, but if you do, you will love this location. Also fun to see all the wildlife around, my kids loved that. We took a lot of walks to the various lagoons. All around, a great experience, great location, and a great value. If we return to Hilton Head soon, we will try and book this same location.

Great stay at the Shipyard

Wonderful condo at the beach for basically hotel pricing. Owner was great to work with and the unit was very nice. We have booked marked the site for future visits. We have stayed all over the Island and as far out as Savannah and were very pleased with this resort.

Beachwalk Condo/Hilton Head Island

My wife and I have stayed at this condo for 2 weeks each of the past two summers. The owner has been very helpful and honest in answering our questions and resolving any problems that have arisen. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone who wants a well maintained condo at a great location near the beach. We plan to continue renting this condo each summer

This condo was the perfect size and had great amenities for my family's vacation. We have 2 kids (4 yr and 2 yr old boys) and they thoroughly enjoyed the toys, books, and puzzles that were available for them. The pack n' play, side rail for the bed, booster seats, stroller and small bike were in great working order and we used them all. We did set up the pack n' play in the master closet because then the baby could have his own 'room' for napping which worked out great. We didn't use the adult bikes but they looked in good shape too. With the baby seat on the back, the whole family could have gone for a bike ride but it was just too hot. The only negative about the condo is the condition of the floors (tile is very worn, carpet is stained.) This condo is older and definitely well used. In addition to the kids, there were 4 adults (myself, my husband, my mom and aunt) for most of the week and we had plenty of room for everybody to hang out and sleep. The Beachwalk pool is very nice and we used it a lot. The Wonder wheeler was perfect to haul our stuff to the pool or beach. The beach locker was FULL of toys, chairs, etc. to use on the beach and it is so nice to leave the sand in the locker! Thanks for the rental and for the extra room in our car since we didn't have to bring all that baby gear from Michigan!

Owner response:Thanks for all the great feedback. Most Shipyard Villas were built in the early 70's. We replaced all appliances and carpet 4 years ago. The area in the dinning room gets more traffic (see picture), so spills do happen during the summer months. It is professionally cleaned twice a year.

Beachwalk 194 was just the right size for 4 adults and 2 children. My grandson was thrilled with all the “toys” you provided. He really enjoyed the blocks while inside and the bike and beach toys while outside. My son-in-law, daughter and husband made “ample use” of the broadband Internet access during the week. I made good use of the kitchen and I was very impressed with how well supplied it was! Everything I needed was there including sharp knives! I also enjoyed the up-to-date appliances (flat-top stove, big washer and dryer). My husband loved the coffee machine. I did a lot of baby sitting while there but in my free time, I loved sitting in the shade on the porch reading a good book! The place was quiet, clean and the air conditioning works great! Thanks again for a lovely week.

We had a great stay in Beachwalk 194! The condo is very spacious, immaculate, and is very well equipped for a family with kids. We have a 3 year old and a 3 month old and we had a fantastic time. Anything we needed seemed to be right there for us, including a Pack and Play for the baby, a small bike with training wheels for our son, bed rails, and a wide array of toys for the beach down at the locker. The owner clearly goes out of her way to make it a pleasant stay and we can't wait to come back.

We certainly enjoyed our stay at 194 Beachwalk - an ideal HHI location - just close enough to beach/golf/tennis/pool/shopping/ -while far from hustle and bustle of HHI- very quiet - well decorated and equipped - we all (4 adults) enjoyed our HHI vacation in comfort and style, certainly would (assuming you are offering the property for rent) returning next year. THANKS!

Using my cane, I enjoyed the lovely short walks to the beach.The sunny convenient kitchen was also a plus for us.My husband and I are planning a return trip.We've surely found a "home away from home"during our retirement years.

We have stayed in this unit two times now and love it! Everything looks brand new and is always so clean. The very short walk (or bike ride) to the beach was easy enough for both of my kids (ages 4 and 6). And the owners are so nice/easy to work with - everything was a breeze. We will definitely come back a 3rd time!

We just returned from a fabulous vacation on Hilton Head. Thanks so much for renting to us. Beachwalk is darling! Sand toys were great, booster seat used for every meal, and the pack'n play and bed rail served my daughters well. The locker and Wonder Wheeler were SO convenient!! What a great set up!!

We had a very enjoyable week at your property on Hilton Head...I would really appreciate knowing what brand of mattress you have on the king size bed...it was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on.
