To get a taste of the quaint Costa Rica coastal town of Dominical, there is no equal to Casa De Piña. "Piña" is the Spanish word for "Pineapple". Casa de Piña is named for the fact that the pineapple symbolizes "Welcome": Casa de Piña warmly extends this tradition of hospitality to all that visit.
If you are wanting to stay in Dominical, and I mean "In Dominical", then this is the place for you. Casa de Piña offers the only vacation rental, that I am aware of, in the town of Dominical. That alone may do it for you. But if you consider that it is a wonderful home, where one can truly relax and allow the tranquility of being in the tropics next to the beach seep into ones bones, then Casa de Piña takes on a truly unique and special aspect. You can walk both to the beach in 2 minutes, and to the town's various restaurants. World class surfing is year round.
To reach Casa de Piña, drive along Dominical's one main road toward the beach. Bump along until you see Posada del Sol, the entry to Casa de Piña is right across the street. Turn in to the left into the driveway, before you reach Sundancer Cabinas.
The approach to the house is a walkway through nicely landscaped tropical flower beds, shaded by magnificent trees. To the right is an additional outdoor shower, (useful when one is a block away from the beach).

What to do if you fall in love with Casa de Piña? Take a piece of it home with you. The owner of Casa de Piña represents an artist who works in the medium of wood doors. Hand carved Toucans, monkeys, and other Costa Rica symbols are his specialty, but he is available for commission work as well. He does monthly exports to the U.S. and Canada.
International recording artist Nancy Buchan (Violinist) is available for weddings and parties (solo or with band).
Music Promoter and Real Estate Broker Charley Howard is available to show real estate or book your events.
