A perfect location for two weeks of sunshine and peace. Really impressed with Sogna & the way it is maintained. There is so much of interest to see in the locality whatever the time of year or weather. For us, with wall to wall sunshine, perfect temperatures, fantastic pool and, above all, the absence of traffic, the holiday couldn’t go wrong. We loved it so thanks for letting us share your property. Just one complaint.... We had to leave!

The location is absolutely beautiful - picturesque and peaceful, yet an easy drive to so many other locations that we had the pleasure of visiting. Everything was great at the cottage. The house is lovely and most tastefully furnished and decorated. The village is super. We particularly appreciated the tennis court (one of the reasons we chose Sogna), and although it was rather cold to swim at this time of year (I did a token length!) we appreciated being able to lay around the pool to read during the day. It was nice to have good quality pool furniture and Fillipo and Lucca keep the grounds in excellent condition. Overall we thought the house and village were lovely and we had a wonderful holiday. What a fantastic place! We’ve had a lovely relaxing week. It’s possibly the most relaxing place we have ever had the pleasure of staying in! Most of our time has been spent by the pool, but when we did manage to get off the loungers we had a great time in Siena – just as atmospheric as you would expect, Monte San Savino is a fun drive up some twisty roads and through beautiful scenery. Last taste of summer on an amazingly quiet hilltop... warm evenings under the pergola with the sound of cicada’s, an occasional owl call... taste of sun in the red sweet tomatoes, sun warmed figs picked from the tree, the deep dark Chianti’s, salt of prosciutto and pecorino... Like the long winding road uphill, Sogna never ceased surprising us with its dreams! Heading home, knowing that the first frost of autumn nights has reached Stockholm, but savouring the sun and warmth of Sogna Piccola.

We have enjoyed a lovely, peaceful and relaxing week here in beautiful Sogna – just what we needed after a hectic week in Rome. Your perfect home has made for our ideal honeymoon (thank you for the bubbly! It was very kind). We’ve enjoyed days out to Siena and Florence (taking the train from Montevarchi was so simple). Driving through the picturesque Chianti Hills was a joy as was sampling the local varieties of wine and food.
