This is the newest villa area in the seaside area of Palmetto Dunes Resort! Wendover Dunes is known for its location to the beach, spacious and open floor plans and beautiful kitchens! You will also love the extra large screened in porch after a day on the beach! Located on a quiet cul-de-sac with adjacent bike paths, you will enjoy the pool amenity center with hot tub, grills and chaise lounges or stroll the beach path in your flip flops to miles of beach and Atlantic Ocean.
The villa offers three large bedrooms all with private baths. There are TWO (2)master suites with spa tub, separate shower and king-size bed. The other guest bedroom includes twin beds. The great room offers a pull out queen sleeper with access to a bathroom. This villa is equipped with HIGH SPEED INTERNET ACCESS for those guests that need to stay in touch. It is beautifully decorated and accessorized!
Walk, jog or bike along the miles of beach and trails located within Palmetto Dunes. Fabulous 18 hole golf courses designed by Trent Jones, Arthur Hills and George Fazio are ready and waiting to make your vacation unforgettable. Enjoy tennis on one of the 23 clay or two hard courts. Shopping and restaurants await you at the nearby Shelter Cove with a bike pathway under the highway to a scenic marina and fabulous shopping at the Mall. The new outfitter is now open for you to take the time to explore the eleven mile lagoon in a kayak, canoe or even a fishing charter.

This was the most comfortable place we have stayed at on our annual beach vacation! Spacious, more so than you can see from the pictures. Also very quiet - didn't hear any neighbors. Very clean and well equipped. The owner was very helpful, and the check in procedure with Island Getaway is the best - no need to go to an office and check in, no keys to worry about! We really enjoyed it. Thanks for allowing us and our family (including dogs) to stay there! We love Hilton Head and Palmetto Dunes, this is a great location.Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, age 55+, families with young children.

We loved our stay at Wendover dunes, great location and villa was so nice and roomy. Big enough for 2 families with a lot of privacy. Very tastefully decorated and owner was very nice to deal with. Great week!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, pet owners, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers.

Our family found this property to be excellent for this family vacation! Two full masters and plenty of space. The grills at the pool were always available whenever we needed them, and we cooked out three time during the week. The walk to the Beach was less than 10 minutes and the beach itself was fantastic for all, including our 2 year old granddaughter who loved to play in the tidal pools. We enjoyed our celebratory dinner on Friday night at Alexander's which is just a mile away! We love Hilton Head and would consinder returning anytime to this property. Checking in and out was more simple than any hotel, our trip was a pleasure for all and we can't wait to go back.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

This has been my second visit to this particular property. In both cases, we have found it to be very well maintained and extremely clean. The property is very spacious, well located, a short walk to the beach, just as advertised. The property owner is very easy to work with as well as the rental agency who handles the local management of the property. This 3 beedroom townhouse is in such a beautiful location. We have stayed at many places in Palmetto Dunes, and it was our favorite. It was so spacious and clean.The screened in porch was great. Our whole family meet there every morning, all 9 of us, dog included.The owners were wonderful, and so easy to talk to. I think that anyone who shares their property and makes it petfriendly, are special people. I would recommend this home to anyone. Some of our favorite activities are, meeting on the beach every morning at 7:00 am. for doggie play group, eating at Stacks, Smokehouse, Alexanders,British Open Pub, and taking a trip to Savannah( only 40mins. ).Recommended for: Pet owners.

We just got back form staying in this beautiful Wendover Dunes Villa in Palmetto Dunes resort. The place is extremely spacious. The two master bedrooms are huge along with the bathrooms. We were able to put my son's pac-n-play in the walk in closet with plenty of room to spare.The decor and furniture are gorgeous. We especially liked the screened in porch. We found ourselves eating there every day. The place was extremely clean with very easy access to the beach and pool.(two minutes to pool, five to beach.) The owner was extremely cooperative and helpful. When a lamp in the third bedroom was found broken, he had someone from the rental company bring a new one over the next day. I would recommend this to villa to anyone. We had a wonderful time. I would recommend riding bikes in Palmetto Dunes. For restaurants, I would recommend Marley's, Salty Dog, Kingfisher, and Scott's Seafood . They were all delicious. Thanks and enjoy.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

We stayed in this beautiful Villa for a month and enjoyed the quiet location, the proximity to the beach and the beautiful furnishings. We would definitly rent this villa in the future.
