I'm sorry but this cottage was rented for the total summer by a family from CA. It will be available next summer! This charming, adorable, cozy cottage overlooks picturesque Card Cove with its lobster boats and sailboats moored below. It is located on bridge accessible Great Island; the first in the chain of the Harpswell Islands that lead to famous Orrs and Bailey Island, eventually ending at scenic Lands End. When you drive onto beautiful Orr's Island you will be entering one of Maine's favorite vacation spots and you will see why!
It is within minutes of numerous activities such as beaches, state parks, museums, Bowdoin College, Brunswick Naval Base, shopping, antiquing and great restaurants. Located within an hours drive for easy day trips to points of interest such as Boothbay Harbor, Freeport (Home of L.L. Bean) and the historic Old Port in Portland known for its abundance of restaurants, shopping and an active night life.
A large screened porch fronts the cottage with a sundeck overlooking the cove and provides a great place to sit and read and/or paint a picture! The first floor has a foyer, small kitchen, small dining room, with the living room looking out onto the sundeck and cove beyond, and a shower room. Home away from home, this is the place to stay!
The upstairs consists of two bedrooms with a full bath. The smaller bedroom has two twin beds; the front bedroom with its lovely easterly views overlooking Card Cove has a queen-size bed.

- Cooks Lobster House on Bailey Island is just down the road and you can take a ferry ride to Eagle Island (Admiral Peary's State Park) or a Casco Bay Nature Cruise from Cook's or book your own private charter for cruising -fishing or exploring.
