This 2-story house is nestled in a private, wooded setting, centrally located to skiing, hiking and the resort center at the Mountain Inn in Wintergreen.
Walk through the front door and you will feel the openness created by the vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, and floor-to-ceiling windows.
On the first floor, there is a kitchen, living/dining area, full bath and one bedroom with a queen-size bed. On the second floor, there is a full bath and two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with two twin beds.
The kitchen is stocked with many cooking essentials. The dining table seats eight.
In the Spring, hiking trails are within walking distance and golf courses are a short driving distance to the top of the mountain -Devil's Knob- or down in the valley of Nellysford.
In the Summer, get relief from high temperatures where the mountains are usually ten degrees cooler than lower elevations in Virginia. Lakes and pools are available for swimming and sunning. Also, enjoy golfing, hiking and horseback riding.
In the Fall, the trees turn brilliant colors of red, yellow and orange - a good time for a drive on the spectacular Blue Ridge Parkway.
In the Winter, skiing and snow tubing are the main attractions at Wintergreen. The Tyro ski trail is within walking distance - no need to drive to the chairlift. The main resort center can be reached by a free shuttle bus service or park your car at the slopes.
