This is out third year at the cottage and it was just as fun this year as those in the past. My boys ages 9 and 11 love to swim, snorkle, tube and kayak. They also enjoy the many small mouth bass they are able to catch. The cottage is fabulous so clean and we love that there is no TV. We watch a few DVDs over the week but mostly it is all family time. Fires in the fire pit and board games. Really fun. We plan on being back for our 4th year next year. A truely fantastic place.

The Poirier cabin is lovely and well-cared for. Reading in the hammock, kayaking, camp fire, cooking, exploring, travelling to breathtaking swimming holes, an easy ride to Old Orchard Beach, a jaunt out west and north. We arrived with excitement, and left with a peaceful hum.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.

Our stay at this cozy and secluded cottage was by far our favorite vacation yet. We were looking for a truly relaxing vacation experience with our two young boys and we found it here! We all loved the dock, the fishing, the canoe and the beauty that the lake has to offer. We were close enough to other things that we could take a day trip if we wanted- but we found that just staying at the cottage was all we really needed. It provided the true family time we needed to reconnect and enjoy the slow paced life we so desire. Thank youf for opening your piece of heaven to us! We will be back!

The cottage is just right for a family to enjoy the adventures of the day on the lake then relax the evening inside a cozy cottage. It is also close to the mountians for a quick day trip, and leaf peeping in the fall. A great location for childern to play and learn about nature. My wife and I had a great time at the cabin. It has everything that one could ask for in a summer retreat. We spent mornings on the dock reading, afternoons using the sandy beach across the lake (accessible by canoe), and evenings pulling in huge small mouth bass. I'd recommend this property to anyone and we can't wait for our next stay.

What a beautiful cottage, Quite and peacefull. As soon as we walked through the front door we were so pleased. Couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our vacation. The fishing was great, caught about 30 small mouth bass. We are going to be comming back next year for sure. We recomend this cottage to all. Thanks agian Bob and Liana

We had an incredible stay, the cottage was beautiful! Everything is clean and well tended. We spent the week swimming and kayaking every nook and cranny of the lake; especiallly enjoyed watching the bald eagle perched in the tree on the point, which was visible from the dock.... what a week! Highly recommend this property , we plan to return this year.

This is a great place to stay for a nice relaxing vacation! The home is beautiful! I am glad that I found this home. My family used to stay on the lake years ago. It has brought back a lot of memories for my family & I. It is nice to see that since several years have past, the lake is still clean & very beautiful!. This is a great lake for anyone that likes to fish. I would recommend this home to anyone!

This is the first year we have rented our summer home so unfortunately we do not have any previous years guests comments. My family has spent the last years enjoying weeks or weekends at this Canton Lake home...we love it. It is new, clean, comfortable, quiet, and fun!
